Wow I’m surprise that Ralf Souquet shared that one rail kicking system. I never seen that way before, always seen split the difference and guesstimate if OB and CB are not on the same line. Great video and thank you for sharing.
It will be 10 months next week I’m back playing. After a 30 year layoffs of not touching a stick honestly. I can for sure that your vids have help me a great deal. Keep it up 👍
Congrats to you for getting Mr. Souquet on a video with you. I have always loved watching him play. Very methodical. A fierce competitor but also a gentleman. World-class.
The animation at 0:58 is so helpful in understanding why the system works. Seeing the angle move with the parallel shift is a nice visual. Please incorporate more animations like this in your videos!
After you find the midpoint, you can draw a line straight down to the far end rail over object ball and where it crosses the stick , take line to bank rail. Eliminates parallel shift errors.Reply if you want easier diagram. This is a great system though.
@@john_vin I got the system from Chip Klein. He teaches pro players, even Filipinos, and is regarded by many as one of the best in the world. Friend him on facebook. I’m sure he will help you.
I watched Ralf at the expo. he gives great commentary at the booth where two pro's play and another pro gets on the microphone and gives good detail on what exactly is going on. He was one of the better ones at giving commentary.
For my table, I have to do this through the diamond line on the table, not at the rail. I am sure that each table plays differently because of rail conditions. You may have to experiment where to initially point your cue stick--rail, rail groove, diamond line, etc.
Thanks guys! Ralf has been one of my top 3 players of all time. Not only is he a great great player he has perfect pool Etiquette. I would love to see him start his own channel!
Thanks for this! I've been trying different systems for kicking lately, and this is by far the easiest and most effective way I've seen so far. Will definitely practice it! Keep up the fantastic work.
That is very interesting I like what I see a lot! It might be interesting to discuss the alternative system which is to take the center of the ghost ball off of the object ball contact point you are trying to hit, an equal distance beyond the rail cushion as though a mirror and use that as the aiming point. The key for this alternative system is to use the center of the ghost ball as to where you would want it to hit the 8. I plan to be working on the system shown in this video as the visualized "shift" angle should be better then the system I previously learned from a peer of mine a few years back that works well enough to hit object balls so as not to foul, worst case scenario, and see how well it works. By the looks of it I think it should work great! Also was good to confirm the one tip forward english for one rail kick shots and medium stroke and how you approximate a medium stroke. That's what I use but nice to hear it from a pro! Also fabulous to receive a trade secret thank you both so very much!!! Best 5 minute pool lesson on the internet! Cool on bloops too! :) My only question is what beer did you guys drink after taping the video? 😁
This is a new one to me, thanks to you and Ralf for sharing. Funny, people tell me I have an advantage in pool because in tall. Then whenever I meet a pro player they’re tiny. So what’s going on there? 😂😂😂
Your mix of animation and video, along with showing a mix of long, short, right and left make this exceptional. Great to see Ralph too. You don’t have Kamui Rail Slicers on your new table. Any thoughts on them? I’m thinking about a set to help learn three rail systems.
This system gives you the same line of aim as the mirror kicking system. It might be easier to visualize in practice than the mirror system because it is not easy to visualize the mirrored ball if it is not close to the rail (at least for me).
Basically if you would have payed attention in math class you would have known this too. We had that in the second year. There are similar aiming systems for 2 rail, 3 rail and 4 rail kick shots. Just draw it on a piece of paper. Only problem with theory and practice is that many other factors are in play. Like speed of rails. Age of rails. Sometimes even all 6 rails on a table are reacting different. Moisture of cloth. And of course unintentional english etc etc etc and many more variables. Most important is practice practice and practice more. Systems are nice for reference but mastering it comes with practice.
Depends on how exact you are when picking the original angle. As long as the original angle is the correct angle you will make the ball, if you hit it correctly. But mostly just to avoid a foul.
@@Sharivari How would the referee be able to tell the difference? Some chalk comes of your cue accidently while placing the tip against the rail when measuring, or marking it on purpose to aim for it. Makes no difference. Would be called a foul. Not trying to be difficult. Just an observation. Great stuff and channel ;)
You saw how they demonstrated hitting different sides of the object ball. If you want to try to sink the object you would start by drawing a line through the ghost ball of the object ball to the rail, then move the butt of your cue to the mid point, then parallel shift your cue over the cue ball.
"It's so easy" said by an expert = "This will take you 40 years to perfect, if you practice a lot, and even then you'll still mess it up sometimes." ;P
These seem complicated you are just splitting the difference I don't see how using your stick to guess where to hit is any different than just guess and eyeballing it that's all you are doing in both scenarios

Thanks for sharing that! That's the most easy to understand kicking system ever. Wow!
I've been looking for that for 60 years!

This is easily the best video on this system out there. Good stuff!
This is the essentially the system I learned for banks. I already forgot the book where I got this. Thanks for this. Made me remember.

Hi Slate i was about to comment the possible miscalculation when doing the parallel shift.can you provide the diagram please thank you
@@john_vin I don’t know how to send you a diagram on you tube.

Can't believe I never thought of this, it seems so obvious in hindsight. Thanks for sharing!
This is the first kicking system I learned.
Thanks...

Awesome!
Ich habe es quasi sofort getestet. Absolut der Hammer. Hoffe ihr habt auch noch ein paar Runden gespielt.
Just a world champion in the room. Nice one, Sharivari!

I really enjoy watching Ralf play and instruct. He's world-class! Thanks for bringing him in, and another great video!
This is absolute gold! Thank you so much!!
Thanks, Ralph!
Never a better system. I love it
Nice visualizing the side contact point, thanks
Thanks so much to both of you 💖
So glad to him play with one of his idols.
Thanks, idol Ralph for the additional knowledge!
Great video, will be trying this tmor at the club!!
Now I have a system to check what I already thought was the angle!!! Thank you

A humble person, great player, legendary ralf souquet 😍
Can't wait to try it! Thanks
Easy to visualize, thanks!
Woah! Well I’m trying this tomorrow. Thank you both! 👍
That visualization off of the rail was amazing. It feels much easier to see where the ball is headed more reliably now
I love this system and it can be used for banking as well
Great! Can't wait to try it
Great content as always. Off-topic but I didn't realize you are so tall Sharivari!
Love Ralf. He's such a legend
Im having trouble kicking, this really helps. Thank you!
Great tip. Thank you both. Gonna try it today
Thanks
Thanks you guys good lesson.
Great video- thank you both!
Our pleasure!
Good explanation...
I'm digging it.
Thanks Good job
POWERFUL!!!
More of this please. 👌
thanks!! It's really useful.
Enjoyed it, thank you.

No ways 😭😭😭😭
That was thoughtful 😂🔥🔥🔥yoh
Loved the first stratage and understood everything that was gonna be said.
Thanks CueBall manipulator 😎
Glad you liked it :)

great video!
Man, I've been playing since a bit more of 15 years but never thought about this xD
Wie immer gutes Video
Thanks for this
it was very effective
Want some more of that
Thanks for this tutorial Sir Shari and Idol Ralf., yeah this is great but still so hard for me hahaha
Your mix of animation and video, along with showing a mix of long, short, right and left make this exceptional. Great to see Ralph too.

Glad you enjoyed it! The are good for practice, but I didn't really use them apart from teaching students at this table.
Thanks for teaching…..

Good stuff brah 💪
nice tip, i try it...
Nice good stuff
Awesome 👍🇳🇿
I used this already but I thought I come up with it lol thanks for the information
So great Sirs! (Sharivari and Ralph) So helpful and accurate! lahhvhette! ;)
Ralph is awesome
Awesome! like to see the collaboration video you do this time, please invite the other pro players! -thank you
I am waiting for 2 rail or 3
Super Video 👍

Can you explain next time where you aim in the rail in different speeds ? Thank you
Can you buy that diamonds marker for the rail that’s on your table if yes where
Please tell me where you got the diamond segments.
Always informative. Thanks
Get Ralf to do a 2 rail kicking system video
Guess what's next :)
Does this system transfer in regards to pocketing the object ball also? Or is this more for getting out of snookered situations?
Depends on how exact you are when picking the original angle. As long as the original angle is the correct angle you will make the ball, if you hit it correctly. But mostly just to avoid a foul.

Any visible mark from the cuetip chalk on the table would be called as a foul yeah?
If you put it there on purpose, yes.
@@Sharivari How would the referee be able to tell the difference? Does this work when 1 rail kicking at a ball the long way of the table, and not just across it?
Yes it does.
That’s is how I always measured my kick shots
When to use one rail and when two rail kicking ?
❤️❤️❤️
I’m confused. I get the system but why did you not show us how to use it and make the object ball in?
Thats great to hit the ball, but what about sinking the ball ? can you show that to please.
You saw how they demonstrated hitting different sides of the object ball.
If you want to try to sink the object you would start by drawing a line through the ghost ball of the object ball to the rail, then move the butt of your cue to the mid point, then parallel shift your cue over the cue ball.
I just looked at the video in the last few minutes to challenge the boyz
Wow that just made things easier 10fold 🤣👍
So it's basically the 2-1 system but more precise.
can we see a match bettween you and ralf on your home table
"It's so easy" said by an expert = "This will take you 40 years to perfect, if you practice a lot, and even then you'll still mess it up sometimes."
;P
スーケーさんも俺の「はんぶんこシステム」使ってたんや🤔
Not bad but moving cue parallel on the table is really hard sometimes shaft move faster sometimes the cue handle
and in english pool
It seems like he is using running English. Is that true?
实用
Wait what,!!! How tall are u?? Damm...
7.8
How is this a secret kicking system? There are hundreds of videos showing this system.....
These seem complicated you are just splitting the difference I don't see how using your stick to guess where to hit is any different than just guess and eyeballing it that's all you are doing in both scenarios
Bruuuhhhh you didn't teach anyone how to sink the ball just how to hit it disappointment
