Yes plenty but allow for all the scammers you will come across. The place is full of them. Fake smiles for your cash,no end of lies. Very high crime rate but this is not reported to protect tourism. The lying coast of Africa

Ohh my this is so confusing for me as a residential US . You talk about purchasing in pounds and then you add a new word pence. Ok
The pound is made up of 100 pence just like the dollar is made up of 100 cents. To convert the pounds into dollars use a currency converter. Thanks for watching and hope this helps, have a blessed day!!

20,000 pounds for land? You can get land for 1500 dollars or less in Gambia, depending on the area.. If you spend 20,000 pounds in Gambia your house should be well on the way to being finished....with the land paid for in that.
20,000 to 30,000 to BUILD a house including the land material, including labour and location/plus legal fees etc
