Stop going there….
You are right we need to be vigilant
Thanks for this my sis Iv bn wanting to move to the Gambia but Iv bn seeing some videos that bring some discouragement so Im reconsidering but I will visit. Hope to meet you one day .Will email you so we can keep in touch. Peace and blessings.
This is not completely true though. The food is Senegalese not Gambian, also jollof rice originally from Saint Louis Senegal is an intangible cultural heritage. Culture is also different, what visitors see in Gambia is actually Senegalese culture which should not wonder since Gambia is a small country. I´m a native so I should know.
Thanks for your comment, I have eaten both Gambian and Senegalese Benachin /jollof rice and they are cooked differently, and they taste different too. I did not eat in a restaurant but with both Gambian and Senegalese families and they also informed me that the idea of the one pot is the same , but , they all put a different twist to it. I do make references to similarities and differences in other aspects. We cook one pot in the Caribbean Too, but it also has a different twist. The sameness between the two regions outweighs differences.
@@AFRICAGOODLIFE4993 Gambian jollof rice tastes differently because it is not native to them. Thieboudienne is also called one pot/benechin in Senegal, Gambians still call it one pot because when it was introduced to them they didn’t have dishes besides those coming from Senegal. both countrie´s cultures are different what you or visitors see in Gambia is just Senegalese in the same way as thieboudienne is.
Do you live in Senegal 🇸🇳
A lot of expats give gambia rave reviews, I guess misery love company, I say the negative things about gambia out weigh the positives, and now the currentcy is beginning to lose its value and know what that means, this is just my opinion, go and check it out for yourself. Right now I am in Botswana and this place ic much more organized then the gambia and way more developed, my credit cards even work here but didn't in gambia. But it's up to you even the taxi and the Uber is cheaper here.
I lived in gambia for 8 months and what this sister is say is absolutely on point. I've seen people buy land and then after they started building someone comes and put a claim on the land and you out of your money. Also when I was there a number of people were robbed and killed or just robbed so it's not as safe as every body says.
I am jola/wolof
Can someone tells us how well are they doing. That is mother and daughter
I have been trying to to contact them but to no avail. However I will keep trying, let’s hope and pray that they have gone from strength to strength.

Good Afternoon, at the moment it’s rainy season, a time when most people leave because of the mosquitoes and the not so good conditions in the environment such as flooding due to the poor infrastructure in some parts. It is also a time to touch base with the family, so no I am away at the moment. Catch you in a livestream soon. Have a great day

Greetings Abi🎉 Lovely footage and Yes the environment looks sooo peaceful ...Thanks for sharing
Thanks for visiting
only in Africa you see land problem,no where else only the continent of Africa
Thanks for your reply, but it happens in the Caribbean as well. These places have weak systems where the people seem to be a law unto themselves
@@AFRICAGOODLIFE4993 my brother we are all the same black people,it hurts sometimes to say,do right things it's not the right way for us, wrong thing is the right way for us, all black are the same no matter where in the planet we are
There is a deeper issue at stake amongst us which started the day we were taken over , divided and ruled, self hate and division instilled, the day our real culture was infuriated and destroyed. Once we understand the Willy Lynch Plan we will be on our way to recovery
the continent still have 100 yrs to development
Remember that Africa was colonised and stripped of of its people and resources and they are still enslaved by debt and elements of mental slavery
Nusrat is on of the worst school in the Gambia
I guess everyone has their own personal experiences

Hi
❤❤❤❤
very cool 🥰
You sound Caribbean not sure why you would put on rose colored glasses in Africa 😂
@globalvillageTravelChannelThere may be a difference in the way we interpret that term. It is very easy for people to get swept away with the smiles and the easy going nature of the people, the sand , sea, sun ,the foods, what appears to be freedom and feeling like they are the part of the majority, feeling like they are home at last due to the way they are welcomed and the love ❤️ bombing .Many have fallen by the wayside based on one or two visits and a lack of understanding of what’ lies behind some of the charms.Africa is not utopia, but no where on earth is. People just need to learn about the the way of life, learn about what is real and what is too good to be true and take caution ⚠️ where ever they live
❤❤❤❤❤
These are not our people nor are we Africans!
Elaborate please
Gambians should not allow to be exploited by greedy bunch of munchers, stand firmly against greed you conscious sons and daughters of The Gambia !🙏🏻

AVYEGYBA IS THE REAL HOLY LAND AVYNEGYBA CHILDREN ARE THE REAL KINGS AND QUEENS OF AVYNEGYBA IS THE REAL NAME OF AFRICA
Thanks for the info, it’s great to know what we are likely to expect
Thanks for this useful information, pros and cons, it is good to be conscious and and to take off the rose coloured glasses.
Please fight for the Gambia because you are the best qualified Gambians.
