Great video as always. Not sure how ive watched all of these and never noticed that theres a drum kit in the background before. Im getting to the point where I want to put call of the herd in the sideboard of every green deck that I play. It's just so solid in so many matchups
Hahaha, I'm a professional drummer so there's drums all over my house, though I'm transitioning away from that life these days... And yeah, Call tends to overperform very consistently.
I haven't played Magic since I sold my collection in 2009 and I've watched every single premodern video you've put out. Thank you for making such amazing content
Match 1 opponent really had the back to back turn 2 dreadnought with foil backup. Absolutely unbelievable draw. So glad you won that match, losing to that would feel so bad.
Match 1 G2 you chump with all the squirrels to go to 3 so you have an extra landdrop. I thought you were going to use that to play Survival and search for an Uktabi! I think I would’ve chumped with the Hermit itself so that you can keep a squirrel, which gets you to 7 mana and lets you get a Squee in between (so you have gas the next turn). Somewhat unintuitive to throw the Hermit away but it only really helps if you can somehow play it twice and that was going to be difficult.
That's actually a good line, I didn't think of that. I was thinking that if I get to redeploy the hermit and then manage to draw any 1/1 I get to attempt to trade with the 12/12, but chumping with 3 squirrels and hermit and going to 1 to then survival and search for uktabi on the following turn would have been a better line!
I don't even know them and could be interesting to learn, but have no desire whatsoever to play the format. I heard some folks considering doing a dono video, but until I see the cash on my Paypal I don't think I'll be firing off a Modern league, haha
I remember seeing WOrb in older lists, and that seems like a very reasonable inclusion, but I feel like Tangle Wire does what you'd want that slot to do a bit better (especially against decks like Dreadnought, where it can be an absolute hammer). Still, all things considered, I'm not a fan of either card and simply consider them necessary evils.
Hi, i dont know if is not a tech angainst something like Plague, but if not .. i dont know why you play Druid Lyrist (human druid) and not Elvish Lyrist (elf). Potential Symbionte and Bichlore rare synergy.
I play using Magic: the Gathering Online (MTGO). It acts pretty much just as regular Magic cards in that you can buy and sell them, but it uses a currency called "Tickets" (roughly 1 Ticket = $0.9).

@@brianontiveros-kersch2412 that’s awesome! Love to hear that, and hopefully I can inspire you to play the best Magic format!
@fpawluszmtg if I would play again it would definitely be Premodern. 2006-08 legacy is my favorite format of all time
@@brianontiveros-kersch2412check out Classic Legacy.
@@brianontiveros-kersch2412 There is also a community format called classic legacy. It might be interesting for you.

Muito obrigado! Premodern e o melhor formato du Magic
Great video. Wall of Blossoms looked amazing.
The unsung hero of Premodern green decks that don't want to lose to Sligh

47:25: Famous last words. ;-) The Elf is 99% dead and the rest is 2-3 mana …
Mistakes were made and lessons were learned...
Great stuff!
Thank you!

@ Elves is such a puzzle, I had to pause the video a few times to think. Thanks for making these!
I agree with you 100%. Pre-modern >>>>>>>>>modern. But I would like to see the new amulet lines.

It’s hard to accept that in a list without bicolore the thornscape W effect will never be usable
btw nice video!
Thank you!
Added two copies of a green staple and two one ofs, super crazy!!! :D
I know, right? Revolutionary stuff over here
Shout out to thorn scape

Certainly. We all know that it's a fact that taste is objective, my dear sir.
Keen to watch it afternoon y ray of labor

Side in Druid lyrist to fight against plague,,, lol?
that's literally why it's there?

@@antoninpospisil7174 As you mentioned, it’s exactly because Engineered Plague is the enchantment that you most want to destroy.
so the crazy techs are the sylvan library, birclore ranger and the battle mage?
ok
You summed it up pretty well, considering Wall of Blossoms and Call of the Herd have already been around for a bit at this point.
What is the name of this platform you play on? Do you have to invest money or can you build your own deck and play against others?
