TBH. I feel like I can finally rest my love for Paragon to rest in peace. What’s ironic about everything is that Tera was the last hero to be released in OG RIGHT before the shutdown.

But some people wanted a new moba. Not a 2.0
New players don't want to play the game where they can do nothing against high-skill veterans playing on OP Boris or Marty, or Mori until they're nerfed. So they leave, and the game is dying. Very sad.
That isn't at all how it works. In the slightest. Meta will always be around, people with more skill and time invested will exist in any competitive game. It died because they made the worse version of a revived game.

and what was answer to that, dont practice, make a new smurf and keep going. Ranking system sucks, i had other day Gold lvl 2 who dont know how to activate Orb Underling. Not even when u write 10 times in 40 sec "Jungler press H!" Enough said.

As soon as I seen the run I knew it was in terrible, but after seeing twin blast with a mage style AOE on he’s grenades an murial with a stun an shield I knew it was doomed🤦🏾♂️
muriel stun wasn't the issue. It was a lot of other things tbh. Just ADCs in general were the most broken and they refused to nerf them or their items properly.
@@Rodikaku65 I only played the game once, but my point in saying that was in my opinion a lot of the heroes didn’t have an identity, Muriel is a shielder that’s her identity, placing a stun, there didn’t really seem like they knew what direction they were going. And if you asked me, didn’t really leave a lot of room for future hero kits.
@@African-boy1 She is still mostly shields in OP. The stun is seen as secondary in comparison because they had to make a whole item to counter Muriel's shields rather than nerf the shields itself. The stun is basically eh tbh. It just gave her something to help the ADC while shielding.
It suck that it happened, but the gameplay is not there even tho everything else is top notch.
Pred had like +5x the playerbase during the PS5 launch. That number won't lie.

mas de qualquer forma triste fim, Paragon foi o primeiro MOBA que eu joguei e tive real interesse, aprendi a jogar assistindo alguns vídeos do Magma Troy, foi uma experiência muito divertida. Vou sentir saudades de jogar com o Maco, sempre foi meu personagem favorito junto com o Iggy.
Pred is a significantly smaller team and is holding their own against some of this industries giants. Sure the content is smaller but for their size its great. I think you'll like it.

I have 500hrs in the game and still go 1 and 12 i get the issue with low amount of players and skill based matching. Game was super fun tho, played it alot while my wife was pregnant haha
Now playing predecessor I’m completely pissed overprime is getting shut down. The mini map for predecessor is trash and the ping system is horrid like I need quick pings for like the main obj of things and lanes like idk shit is wack lowkey

Smite 2 would be the only other option for now. It would be a good time for new players to get into smite
@@CoRdiie I’ve play smite it’s okay… but if smite 2 has a jump to something different I’m all for the change that’s which I’m hoping it more like my favorite moba paragon but it may be unlikely I’m guessing
As a dota/ex hon player, fps gamer, I was always interested in playing this game even during its first launch and never got around to it, although now that its shutting down I'm glad i didn't. I played smite for a short time so I liked the concept. However this game looks like it has such potential and would be interested in an attempt to revitalize the market of moba genres with a game like this. Also on a side note a MMO like anthem thats actually good could be really cool esp with the advancements in VR. It'll happen someday. RIP Paragon, wish I got to try you out, hopefully you have a successor that does you proud.

I think in the end this will be good for the Paragon community, because now there's only one Paragon which is Predecessor... and it's free to play now. It's actually really good. I liked overprime more, i think it had better graphics, but I do think Predecessor runs smoother and I enjoy the map more.
I only play OP on the first beta on PSN but after Predecesor came out thats all I played

Predecessor was always the better game and closer to what paragon was. This is a positive thing for the future of paragon fans

@@CoRdiie the gameplay being better isnt subjecive. Some people may have enjoyed the anime characters and whatnot, but the gameplay was no contest. That being said, we can all unite under one banner now and og paragon fans can unite and keep the game alive. Being divided was going to kill both games.

That's unfortunate. I saw the paragon beta test trailer on the official Playstation youtube channel and was hyped the game was returning. But now this...ill try predecessor out. Rest well Paragon.

yeah they made this announcement awhile back its unfortunate. Pred is doing pretty good looks like it'll be stable. Marvel Rivals is another game I'm looking forward too

@@CoRdiie you can have 10000 skins and 10000 heroes with 0 quality. Characters have no personality, animations were not good, the game feeling overall is cheap. I dont care about quantity when there is no quality.

I tried to get into overprime having a Grandmaster conquest Smite background. I just couldnt get into it, it wasnt TERRIBLE or anything but it was just a horribly rough new player experience. I get it they have tutorials and all that but it just did not hold me the way smite does.
It plays alot differently. More brawly which I liked. It was like a new genre of moba

netmarble team is living proof that u can know how to code, but u dont know how real world works. game fell cause newbs were allowed to open multiple(read at least 10) smurf accounts and in trying to attract new players, u chase off the old ones. Matchmaking was shit.
keep satisfying gen z, who drops u like a mic, as soon something similar comes, cause u are not "listening" to them. I have never run into more egoistic game comunnity, where in team game your own teammates sell you by hiding in bush and waiting for u to die vs 3 enemies, just so they can one hit enemy then run using teleport. And then at end of game, they tell u "Look my KDA". True I killed 2 died 7 times, they have 6 kills and 2 deaths, but when u look actual damage vs heroes, I made double more as tank solo versus enemies than them, no matter if they play jungler , caster or ADC. Shameful really.
That happens when u don't have spine and u don't appreciate your old fans, but u are willing to bend over for couple of new. Also, for this kind of game, marketing was done awful.
I think they didnt do enough im só disapointed and sad. Op is só much better than pred

LOL within the last 30 mins I've literally downloaded the game, opened it, and uninstalled. Opening a game to see an announcement that the servers are shutting down is hilariously sad. Not to mention, a FORCED TUTORIAL is one of those things that i cant fucking stand. You arent able to change any options or even skim through the menu without being forced to do some tutorial as if we are some moron. Im sorry but at this point a tutorial should be optional, a reward for the tutorial is a nice incentive to give the tutorial a go but the way its forced makes it feel like a mobile game forcing you to go through the beginning stages step by step. It's definitely a turn off for new players, i probably would have gone through all of it to actually play but no chance i waste a second of my life to play some game thats gonna be shut down soon.

people are not realistic and have minimal information about the two games people prefer PTO for their cosmetics scenery of vintage paragon mechanics like the running but the game was backed by a huge company Tencent net marble that only cared to make money predecessor has less cosmetics and shows that they don’t want your money rather then your time to play the game and grow yes it’s slow in doing changes but every month you can expect a new hero I do believe it’s in a better state
