Haven't been this excited bout a game since Overwatch alpha 😭
I think the art style is absolutely fantastic! Cool to have a hero shooter with actual preexisting heroes. I hope this is good and does well! Hoping it launches on consoles as well as pc when it officially stops.

I disagree. It is heavily inspired by overwatchs artstyle, and the marvel aesthetic or identity is HEAVILY diluted here. Some of these characters are almost unrecognisable compared to their comic book counterparts.
Ah yes because the comics all have one look across all of them 🤡 bet you had an aneurism watching spiderverse because the spidermen didn't all look the exact same.

@afunkymonke it's funny that you mention that franchise, because despite each character looking vastly different, the artstyle mostly remains consistent in both movies. The problem here is not that all characters look the same? It's that this aesthetically draws more inspiration from Overwatch than Marvel.

@@KiriandaDr Doom has pretty much been confirmed with a bunch of the maps having references to him(also on top of the fact that he is one of the most popular marvel characters). He will most likely be in the tank roll

They did say they want to add a mix of lesser known but I'm sure they will be adding all those popular characters. Can't wait for Gambit!

I just noticed that Hulk has three forms: Banner, Hero Hulk and Monster Hulk. I wonder if Monster Hulk is what he transforms into during his ultimate. If not, curious to know how his form changing works.
probably similar to d.va, base form ult transform to the suit or standard hulk in this case, then the ult in standard hulk changes him to monster hulk
maybe like gnar from League of Legends
Yeah,it is like normal time you will be hero hulk.when u use ult,u transfrom into monster hulk.And if you health bar goes to zero ,u will be back to Banner.

I hope the game does well to be honest it has potential. Marvel gamer fans will definitely try it out and even casual marvel fans should be curious enough to see what the game will be about. Let’s just hope its able to stick around the gaming community and not take a dive like Splitgate
It's kinda sad that these might be some of the best skins I've seen for Marvel Heroes (barring Spidey's overdesigned suit) and there's a high chance this game won't get the traction it needs because it's related to NetEase
I hope this will be the game that finally replaces Overwatch

it looks so good. the graphics, gameplay, abilities, etc., all are super well done. ik i'm not the only OW player who will be playing this game and i think we can all agree that OW needs some competition. i'm hypeeeee

It's a shame that the alternative costumes don't take much inspiration from the comics. In a lot of ways, this looks more like Overwatch than Marvel. Like these guys have a wealth of resources to find decent costumes, and they land on the most contrived steampunk themed Iron Man skin... Some characters don't even look like the original counterparts. Where's the creativity in the artistic direction?!?! It really does just look like this studio is riding the tailcoats of two already successful franchises with this game.

As a huge fan since the 90s, it's the most wholesome thing to see a game again, that really inherits the spirit of the comics. Absolutely stunning and brilliant

I have some questions. Why is Loki, who creates illusions and sticks a knife in the back, a Strategist, and Storm, who controls the weather, a Duelist?

The good thing about this game its the amount of characters they can add from marvel its like infinite wich also make people discover those underdog wich have nice style and story to discover

There were some other leaks and there are a few things that seem to be alpha exclusive but not majority of the content. I think like an emblem and title

Update: I did some research this test will only be 10 days long but they will have tones of tests, there may be a chance they will have a console test.
They will have controller support on the alpha so I'm assuming they'll port it to console

Probably because of his movement with 3 web swings and the flexibility of his pull/pull to. Usually the difficulty stuff in games isn't very accurate. Magik and black panther look the hardest based on their kits.
