It’s clear the straps of high quality. I’m a bracelet guy, but these straps are definitely an option for the future. Lot of the time, just putting a new strap on a watch makes the watch feel like a brand new watch. Thanks for the great review!
A while back I saw a grey hybrid rubber and sailcloth Artem strap on a Seiko SPB143 and it looked stunning. I nearly clicked the button but what kept me from doing it was the fact I could get a decent watch for the money. The same strap would look equally great on your Seestern 62MAS! 😉
I'm always up for giving your recommendations a go John as you're 99.99% right on the money. As a big wrist guy, and after looking at the Artem web site by the time I made all the choices available the price was getting up to buying a San Martin Watch! Maybe I'm just a claw fisted Glaswegian but the price is too much for me. Hairdryer! Great to have you back though John. Too soon though, absence makes the hart grow stronger. Family first. Actual family not watch family.😝 Thanks again No.1 watch reviewer.🤩
Haha. Ye cannae hawd me back! My wife and daughter were doing something else so I completed the Artem review which was overdue 😕 and put the other video together pretty quickly. Feeling better and had some free time soooo ,😉🐱
In my head these are the kind of straps you buy well into your watch journey where you have a few pieces you've spent a little more on and you want to change it up. They look fantastic (and probably feel great) but I'd want a couple of them and then we're into hundreds of dollars and that's really tough to justify. Found and bought a few straps in the 20 - 40 quid category (sadly not all 20 mm) which have been a nice step up from the Aliexpress ones so gonna wear the heck out of those first.
Just got a rubber strap thats made to look like a sailcloth from Ali. Its best of both worlds as cant tell its rubber and its super soft so no break time
Thanks for the review, John. I would spend that much on a bracelet... but not a strap. If I was spending that much I'd want a strap that looks amazing. I don't doubt how highly functional these are but they don't look sufficiently different (for me) from any other faux sailcloth strap. Very interesting review though, so thanks for sharing and keep up the good work. 👍
Thanks for reviewing, it is good to see your take on these. I have used a similar deployant clasp and couldn't get on with it as it did feel a lot of bulk under the wrist to me. Most of my watches cost considerably less than an Artem strap and clasp, so I won't be buying.
These straps looks excellent. Added to a nice watch it can really compliment and elevate the piece to a much higher level. I almost think of good straps as good shoes, both can make you or break you 🙂
@@johnswatchjoint That seems to be how it goes nowadays... Well, concentrate on the positive. I know more of us do appreciate you showing us these type of straps. Have a wonderful weekend John. Cheers mate 🍻
Hi Steve. I quoted the prices in the review. Considering the quality, the mechanism and the materials along with performance it's akin to buying that strap you need for your watch. I would not buy 2 or 3. Rather pick my favourite colour to match my watches and make it a considered purchase like I do when I buy my bracelets. They cost a pretty penny too. Very surprised how comfortable they are as when I opened them I really wasn't sure 😊

Totally agree

Juelong Store on Ali? Enjoy. It's a smooth FKM strap with a nice sheen to the sailcloth+ish nylon.
Thanks for giving a store name! That will help start the search for me even if it’s not the same one from the OP
@@calebtate6723 it’s the china's ZL watch strap Store

I agree. Unfortunately it seems we are in the minority here. Getting a lot of flack for showing a strap!

Thanks my friend. You too 😊
Incredible straps from Artem. Definitely worth the price for the more expensive watches.
It definitely adds to my arsenal as I have been looking for an alternative to NATO's :)
Good review but for what it is seems very pricey.
The perfect strap for my £40 Pagani Daytona 😄
Ya never know!!?? :)
They aint cheap mate!!
Yeah I did say that in the video!?
Something I would buy for a £500+ watch.
just letting you see what is available as my subscribers range in watch prices and types :)
Thousand times over priced!
I just looked at their prices John. Almost had a miocardial infarction.

At $218, I can make my Addiesdive a $250+ watch. 😆👍🏼
But expect excellent after sales service from Artem.
