Conan, acid reflux can sometimes be due to stress and changing eating habits. i dealt with stomach ailments when i was getting my phd. it does not feel good. try an elevated sleeping position and a bland diet. i know a bland diet sucks, but in time it will heal and you can get back to drinking Guinness once you heal. take care. hope this was helpful.

acid reflux aka gerd would make your voice more brighter overall tbh, My voice don't got too much acid reflux everyone has it but if you got gerd it would burn your vocal cords to make it brighter making your vocal cords thinner and overall breaking down your vocal cords. a true basso profundo etc have thick long vocal cords that are not degraded, also for the record conan likely does not have gerd acid reflux is normal at a level but he is getting older so his vocal cords may start to move a little slower
