I don't think you and Whitney realize how unique your chemistry is. seriously, if geography is the problem - move closer, because the only way I see either of your channels reach 1M subs is if you make your duo-videos more regular rather than the occasional treat. this 'casual' thing is nice, but it's a missed opportunity IMO...
It's tough to make the schedules work sometimes. I want to do it more often, but sometimes life gets in the way. I'm going to try to make it a more regular thing though
I went from the 1260s to a V4, and OMG! The V4 is fantastic, it's like a Streetfighter but comfy. I also have the spitfire exhaust which is the exhaust it should have come with as standard (if it wasn't for bloody Euro 5).

I own a 2015 and 100% agree. It's the perfect bike. Street, highway, twisties, it does it all in the greatest style and power. Great handling, dual spark plug, ear busting head turner. I got it for an amazing deal! Maintenance is not expensive with 18k miles between major services. And Whiney is the funniest and coolest lady ever! Thank you.
I remember reading a review of the Max in some magazine, when it was first released. One line has lived rent free in my brain for decades; "I saw Jesus so many times that I started using him as a braking marker."
Excellent video! Like others have stated. You and Whitney together are great and very entertaining. Also, you all need to bring Bottom Sprocket back! 👊❤️
Ahaha that bike definitely shouts Whitney. 😂 Glad to see her on here again, she's super fun. Curious what she think of the V-Max. For that being more raw then the Diavel I guess. But she'll like it, just not as much as the Diavel I think.
Vmax > Diavel The 1700 will REALLY put it in its place. With pipes the Vmax sounds like a V8 pro-stock cammed race car, and when well running the OG Vmax like you have will do a sub 3 second 0-60!
As someone who used to own a 2011 1200 Diavel and currently owns a Diavel V4, I can tell you, Spite - V4 delivers way more! It is a weapon on two wheels, yet super friendly and more comfortable than a 1200, at least for me. Even better handling, better brakes and the power delivery is crazy fun!
My buddy and I ride and we get the same reactions because he's the VMax ('95 gen 1) and I'm the Diavel ('15 gen 2). Last time we rode and stopped for a break, rando guy comes up to my buddy and says the VMax is irresponsible fun, lol! What's interesting about the two bikes is the leg bend between the two, the VMax pegs sit higher but just doesn't handle the twistys like the Diavel does with lower pegs. Love both bikes!
Yeah, the Vmax's geometry is borked. I think with a smaller front tire, taller rear shocks and a fatter rear tire it'll handle a bit more predictably. Right now I have to ride around it.
lol where was this video 48 hours ago 😂 I just bought a tiger 660 but wanted to buy an older Diavel instead of if I saw this before the purchase I would fave went Diavel
If you already had a Scout Rogue and a street triple RS 765 in the garage.. which one would you replace for the ducati and still keep the same job of the bike? Or neither? Meaning, is it more of a cruiser that has a lot of HP, just another naked sport bike?
Interesting, I purchased a 94 Honda CB 1000 big one in good shape because the guy wanted some money to buy a Vmax. Still have the Big One and I love it.
I got a 2020 1260S new, 5 seasons on it now and I'm not sure I will ever get rid of it, best bike I have ever had. The V4 never appealed to me, needs to be a big bore L-twin, and the V4 is too plasticy and they removed some of the Diavel design features, not for me, I call it a "Super Monster, not a Diavel. That said, I have also bought a -25 Panigale V4s so I will get a taste of the V4 in a few months when the season starts again in April.
If you want a cut-price entry level Diavel (Half the ccs, third the price) check out the Benelli 502C: Owned one for 3 years and 100% satisfied. But then I like Odd.
throttle lock and a removable wind screen would make that an easy bike to do long distance. and the vtwins for me is always where it is at. I like the v4s but truly the twins win me over every time. anyway keep up the fun and yes lady bike all the way :)
Both are a great bike, but not on the same word. Diavel is my favorite bike and the best bike I had. It perform in line acceleration, curve, comfort, maniable, exellent brake.
Big motor road glide .. that’s a friendly motorcycle. All the amenities and 140hp/145tq I did it crank up on mine .. so it’s smooth af and will take the power all day. It’s docile in traffic but will pop the wheel up in 1st-5th .. but gathers speed like an old v12 Mercedes
Whitney is great. You should have her on the channel more, but be careful. Eventually, she might be more popular than you. Maybe one day, when your channel is huge, you'll feel threatened, and have to fire her on an episode while she's sitting there, staring into the camera with a shocked expression. In revenge, she'll start her own motorcycle channel, where she'll hire a funny, energetic side kick, who will eventually eclipse her, and she'll have to fire him too, and he'll go start his own motorvlog channel. And so the motorcycle blog-cycle will continue unabated, a chain reaction of funny, likeable sidekicks being fired and spawning new motorvlog channels. Unchecked, this motorvlog chain reaction will continue exponentially until it goes super-critical and all of TH-cam is overrun with nothing but motorvlog channels . Like a virus, motovlogs will reproduce infinitely, overwhelm the internet, spilling over into every social media multiverse. The sheer gravitational weight of infinite motovlogs will bend timespace until the universe collapses under its own weight in a singularity, ending the Universe and fulfilling the ancient Vedic prophesy that a Ducati Diavel will usher in the end of the world. Go easy, Spite, the fate of the universe may rest in your hands. With great power comes great responsibility.
Im 36 and when I was 23 it only cost me $31/month for full coverage on my 04 600rr and Kawasaki 636 to State Farm. My friend said he had to pay $121/month to Geico for his lol.
Spite, I have 9 Bikes. You have done reviews on a few of them. But I haven’t seen one on my Triumph Tiger 1200 Rally Pro or My K-1600 GTLE. I also have a Yamaha VStar 1900 Raider, and a couple sidecars. I live in Salado. I have offered a few times if you want to stop by and do a review or video on one or multiple of them. Maybe cheap to buy an older one but not cheap to maintain with odd tire sizes, Desmo service and Ducati reliability isn't spectacular....but I STILL WANT ONE..😁
The M109 is a Man Size bike. A Tune and a Fogger will handle most things. Ducatis like SAAB's are cheap used because the service costs more than it's worth.
