Our favorite spot for a weekend cruise from Blaine. Great video.

Living in north central Washington in the Okanogan valley and in the process of purchasing a Pacific Seacraft 40 in California and want to bring up to the NW. Looking for a live aboard marina not in the Puget sound area. Does Blaine marina allow this? It looks calm there and beautiful. I enjoy your videos as so many sailors are the Caribbean. Breaking Waves sailor of Vancouver BC and it so beautiful sailing up north. As of now it is not permited to cross into Canada because of covid-19 and may be a year at least before we can. Be great to sail to Alaska and down to Chile. As I am retired A&P aircraft mechanic and time is not an issue.

Your plans sound fantastic and I hope we will start getting some relief with Covid so the borders will open back up. I hear Canada has some beautiful sailing grounds and I would love to check them out, especially since its right next door to Blaine!! As far as the marina goes, we are not supposed to be living aboard, there is a waiting list for that, I question how legit this list is, but I have heard they are more lenient because so many are out of work due to the crisis. We have never been talked to even though its obvious we are living aboard. The sailing grounds in Blaine are perfect for us as we learn our new boat, there is plenty of room and we hardly have to compete for space as we sail and practice maneuvers. I really recommend it. Your trip north may be a rough one as I've heard it can be, but your choice of vessel is a solid one. Pacific Seacraft was on our list of choices. Good luck to you Daniel and I would love if you gave us an update on your trip north. Fair winds and safe travels my friend!
