I find myself thinking all the time how "hard" it must be for TWO work-from-home adults to take care of one little newborn. Totally sugar coated. To those Mamas who dont have a work from home schedule, with a whole other adult available 24/7, kudos. Mama life is not this easy, and there are other channels that show more honest life than this.
I needed this.. lastnight I was so tired on my second wake up of the night, that I left the onsie on my son that has a little poop stain on the back.. I changed the diaper of course. I was just too tired to change him. I feel like a bad mom sometimes because of a little thing like that 😩 I was just so exhausted
When a mom changes a diaper or breastfeeds and is up all night, it's seen as normal.When a dad is changing a diaper or doing ANYTHING for mom or baby, it's almost seen as worthy of a medal. Hilarious. Regardless, you are both doing great!

😂😂😂 so true! I def didn’t ask my partner for much help at the beginning with baby but my thought process was.... one of us can be tired and crabby but if we both are... no good lol
@@kelleyryanvlogs I was getting up alone at night but my husband's "help" during the day if he was home was just normal to him, the least he could do (in his own words🤩) Never had to ask.

Well it’s probably because in a lot (not all) cases the dad has to be up in the morning and work all day...Mom doesn’t have to usually and can get up with the night feedings because she doesn’t have work the next morning
I am a huge dog lover so can I say how much I appreciate that you mention cashew, give her lots of cuddles, and still make her feel loved. Lots of first time parents or parents in general neglect their pets once they have kids.
this is my worry when i give birth. that’s my first child and i don’t want to neglect him
I have neglected my dog in the 1st trimester of pregnancy 😟 I feel so bad but I struggled to care for him! Good thing my partner is amazing and cared for him 🥺

It's not neglect if it's a simple boundary and don't start accusing people of not loving everything and everyone in the house

Those 24 hours felt like a week and I wasn’t even going thru it 😩 currently 34 weeks with baby boy due end of March! Sage is gorgeous and your family is beautiful! ❤️
I know this is random but I am officially 34 weeks today with my first. ....update. Today's my due date but there's some complications. My induction is next sunday on the 20th.

In India it's really a big big deal when husbands help new moms out. I'm blessed with such a man but every single person seemed shocked that he was changing our baby's diaper, doing laundry etc. While I was (still am) dealing with post partum recovery. Hope we can normalize husbands helping new moon and doing baby duties in India.

That snoo looks amazing. I never even swaddled my kids bc I did it once to E and he chose that day to roll over. I came in after his nap bc he was screaming and he was face into the crib and had soaked the crib in his tears and spit. I was traumatized!!! Bawling my eyes out. Anyway now I’m too scared to use any thing that restrain arms lol
Omg that sounds terrifying! I don’t blame you! Sage loves being swaddled and can’t roll over yet but what I love about the snoo is that is straps them in so they can’t roll over.

I really needed this video. My 1 month old for some reason doesn’t seem to want to nap and it’s fussy a lot of the time. I definitely need to do more play time and get a baby carrier so that I can do stuff around the house without her crying all the time. Great video!

My babies NEVER took a bottle. This really reminds me of having a newborn, my first slept very little amd being alone with her from 7 to the evening 5 days a week almost broke me. I took a shower every evening just to feel like a person again. I had to take her with me to the bathroom to pee because it was impossible to put her down the first few months.
You guys are very hard working parents. You take really good care of your daughter. Reminds me a lot of when my daughters were babies and our routine.
My older daughter would never go to sleep without been swaddled.
