You were the reason I bought my q50 and then I ended up selling it about a year later. I still have my 350z so I got rid of it and bought a 2022 tacoma. I plan on buying a 370z nismo eventually but buying a house is now #1 on my list. lol Sadly it's almost impossible to buy a house in my area thanks to the way things are right now. Sucks...
Let's not forget the ustom scs exhaust you crafted for the q50...luv .luv the exhaust... not too loud...but just the right amount of bam for the buck to let them know you've arrived

Still have my 3.7 2014 Q50. Got it with 23k and currently my Snow White got 144k so far no issue with the transmission. But I’m scare it will since I constantly going from Orlando to nyc. Great car and great community.
Had my 3.7 Q50s for a year now, just about to go FBO E85 and saving up for the carb legal TT kit by EAC. It ain’t cheap but I want to keep my Q since the aftermarket is huge and boost it for that torque. Just needa do a vr trans swap down the road if I want more torque but this is my only option b/c CA sucks for mods
I would say generally the same but the Q is likely lower miles and certainly not as old obviously. The Q also does not have the gallery gaskets issue the Gs can have.
If you're careful -- rwd cars in particular can be an issue for younger drivers. I have done a video on whether or not the Q50 is a good first car. Search for that to see some additional insights!
I’ve been thinking about getting a Q50 for my next vehicle. Is it make a difference to buy the 3.7 rather then the 3.0T? Which one is better in your opinion for someone who never owned one before? Only thing I would like is maybe like you said intake, test pipes, exhaust, a tune, lowered suspension, & wheels & tires. I do like the 2019 sport 3.0t but I’ll probably just start with the 2015 3.7 and maybe a couple years down the road if I want more power then I’ll upgrade. As I said I’ve never really owned cars before I’m more of a pickup truck type guy but would like a bigger car then my current 2011 Mazda3. @@anthonygarcia1328 this is not making sense at all. If you’re talking about applying the parking brake, you are correct. Stop the car. Put in park. Apply parking brake. I’m not sure of another way to do it…
Hi Speed Cultures, I recently got a 2015 Q50 3.7 for my first car I just turned 16 and with that being said I want to have your custom SCS catback on my car but do you know if it will pass emissions and inspection because as a young kid it cab get expensive having to pay the shop to swap out your exhaust 😂😂😂
It depends on your state laws. It is just a catback system, but is technically designed for test pipes to sound like it does in the video. Test pipes will not pass emissions

Trans issues are more prevalent in the 214-2015. 27k for a 19 is pretty high but depends on where you are. Check out my channel-I have a lot of videos talking about reliability and ownership

Was not worth the headache. Rear mount was really the only option and very few to choose from-and everyone was really struggling to make them work. 10k+, super long wait times, and a trans that couldn’t hold it anyway. Wasn’t willing to put $15,000+ and over a year of waiting into it.
@@realbeetlejuice mileage isn’t that bad for a car like that. And not everyone drives it like they are running Le Mans. There are a lot of positives to the car like I pointed out and you can get a nice one for 10-12k, which is a heck of a deal.

3.0t is better for easy power. 450tq on a tune with 3.0t is crazy tbh. That's almost 3x the amount of 3.7. I think if you care mostly about reliability, sound, and just the cheaper option, VQ all day. But VR30 is for people who actually wanna have a fast car with minimal amount of money spent imo.

Yes, but most would do the reverse swap. Why replace the 3.0t with a 3.7?

I think your math is a little off-3x a 3.7 would be over 1,000 hp but yes, easier to make more power in any turbo car.
