I like mine I put a holosun 507c Vulcan red dot sight on it plus talon grips ,trijicon night sights and an olight laser flashlight combo i carry it in a kenai chest holster.
I’m sure some people will scoff and laugh because I know some love streamlight BUT I just got a warrior land MB1 light for my G19 Gen 5 and it came with a holster and everything for $100 and I’m in love with it. The light in incredible in my opinion, and the holster I can’t say enough good about it. It’s comfortable, and perfect. Got it off Amazon
Some notable downsides are. Plastic sights are a joke and proper sights upgrade is gonna add $100 to the price of the gun. The trigger is nowadays a 2 out of 10, in light of other smoother designs. The smooth blocky grip design of the gen 5 hasn’t kept up with the competition. There is no manual external safety on any Glock pistol, anyone carrying appendix is liable to shoot their 🔩off.
The bottomline is a whole package of reliability vs simplicity vs durability vs price vs good advertisement vs reliable company backup and support. Period. Is Glock the most accurate pistol?no Does it have a superb trigger? No.Is the grip angle superb? No Is the grip texture the best? No. it is mediocre. Is the barrel highly acclaimed? No Are the sights high quality? No But by reputation built on reliability and company support people buy it. Is it the best pistol in its price class taking into account all the factors I have mentioned ?Absolutely not.As better built pistols just as reliable in a similar price class and even cheaper start to surge onto the market Glock will have to up their game or lose support.
@SkullCrushInc You can only get used ones for the Gen 4. You can still get factory new Gen 3's but they come with 10 round mags. The only reason they keep them around is for California.
They gotta make a double stack micro or compact similar to the P365. Their 43x is bigger than the p365x and still holds lesser rounds. They’re failing to keep up.
@ the Glock company or another company? I know Shield Arms had something like that but Glock themselves need to make something to compete without having to add in anything extra
No doubt the Glock 19 is a favorite but their time is fading today in 2024 and going into 2025! There a way more better options today that is just as reliable, accurate and cheaper! Glock hasn’t done much to keep up with all the newer and improved pistol’s on the market today!
@ I beg to differ! Others just haven’t been out as long that’s the only difference! Don’t get me wrong I love the Glock 19 platform, especially all the clones! But Glock hasn’t innovated their pistols since they’ve came out in the 80s! The new release from Springfield, the echelon 4.0 C is way better in so many ways! And will be just as reliable! I owned several Springfield pistols and none of them ever gave me any issues period! Glocks have horrible triggers, their optic pistols can’t even come close to the echelon optic platform! Their frame stippling is horrible compared to the echelon! The echelon is just a better pistol period!
@ Glock 49 smaller handle easier to hide but I know a lot of people who would pick the other I guess it depends on the person but with the 49 you get smaller handle which takes more mags including the 15 round mags and it’s take all the other mags and plus with the 49 you get the longer barrel which add more velocity to the bullet but that’s why I would chose the 49
@ problem is my hands are to big for the 19 size grip I have one but my hand hangs down and pinch my hand every time I load a 19 it completely fills a 17 size frame with a pretty aggressive trigger guard undercut

I recently purchased 19 Gen5 recently. I tried the G45 at my local gun range and love it. I will be treating myself to the G45 MOS for Christmas.
I have a 19X that I like. It’s almost a G45.
The 19X MOS with threaded barrel and suppressor height sights is available now.
You can buy the G45 frame and switch the G19 gen 5 slide back and forth.
Have tried them all and have ended up back to the Gen 5 G19 as my ccw.
@@JL-xn3zy Same here.
Fits me perfect. Always seem to come back to it. Always works, great with SCS. Put in a Glock performance trigger. It a pleasure to shoot.
As a lefty and prefer the gen 5. Didn’t realize what I was missing.

I love all the pistols I love all name brands I just love guns all of them but Glock will be my number one favorite always
Love the Glock 19 but my favorite shooters and carriers are the Glock 26 Gen 5 MOS and the 19X .
Rather carry my 43x or G 45 !!!
Glock 19 GEN five $700 I love mine
I need a red dot and a light
Holosun SCS mounts directly to the MOS footprint without a plate.

Close I like my 19x a lot

Glock 19 Gen5 has 3 built in safeties.

All this arguing about what pistol is better is pointless. Everyone should buy and shoot what’s best for them. Which is, of course, a Glock.
I love my Gen 4's. Kind of sad they quit manufacturing them.
You can still get a Gen 4 and Gen 3.
Carrying my 19c gen 4 as we speak ! Great gun super reliable and flat shooting

No sir. The Gen 4’s are still on my distributors catalog.
@@SkullCrushIncI looked and they only sell gen 4 factory refurbished ones… is that what you mean ?
I still prefer my gen 3 over my gen 5
Wait till you put a gen 5 slide on a gen 3 frame😮💨

Glock. Often imitated, never duplicated. Only millennials and gen z need a Gucci pistol.
I prefer the G45 or G17 and no other wannabe Glocks Glock only
G17 G19 G45 for me.
Don’t care much for the 45 I do have the 47 19 and 17 tho
