If you do it any sooner, you will die. For police officers who use a shotgun, same principle for a basic enemy but the really safest solution is to roll. Unlikely to survive if you choose to deflect bullets as there will be bullet spread

you can also obtain the prototype key by simply killing the beggar. you can be cooperative with the guy with glasses and stealth through the prison, just kill the beggar after the prison mission and you'll be given the key

Yeah, the attack speed is a bit shit compared to the Katana, but at least I don't have to pick up a throwable to kill someone without being caught.

Actually you dont need to cut the cable, as long as the corpse of the guy you killed doesnt pass the sensor then it still doesnt activate the screen.
You can also lure the guy by cutting the door before stepping in the other room.

Depending on which route you take (Stealth/Killing) in the prison, you'll need to either spare or kill the old man on your walk home.
i dont think you can spare him, your screen glitches and he dies either way

With the prototype key you don't have to refuse your medicine you just need to be sneaky in the prison
