If you get hit regardless of actually taking damage or not, the regenerating mask will vanish.

I’m excited to see you discuss the jades in the game. I agree Steely is the best Talisman Jade and easily the best against minibosses and bosses like Yigong. The other three are just ones I almost never take, the first being something I only use because it’s good in the early game and that’s it.
