There’s already so many red marks and away from fire hydrants, there’s only street parking and is already scarce by the collection and I have to walk 5 min already to my car, this just sucks

Will it be enforced or is this one of those laws that’s to the discretions of the officer .
Because it would be unfair if it’s only enforced in the nice neighborhoods in the city .

This is a problem that is epidemic in the City of Oxnard. Almost every corner has a car parked right on the corner. I’ve never seen anyone cited for it in Oxnard…. EVER.

In My neighborhood, there are houses and drive ways right next to the intersection, how would this apply to the residence vehicles?

I was under the impression there was already a law stating you had to be a certain distance from not only the crosswalk but also the intersection. While I agree with the safety aspect, I feel this is just another “law” designed to get people out of their cars and make room for the non existent pedestrians and bicyclists. All these bike lanes out in for no bicycles. Sounds cost effective to me if I were insane. I also feel this is another law designed to extract money from taxpayers. Ownership of a car equals money to the government. High fuel tax, registration tax, tax on purchased oil, recycling fees for tires, etc. It’s all money extraction in a state where public transportation sucks and residents HAVE to drive a distance to do anything.

So when did we as a society stop teaching our children to look both ways when crossing the street?
