+Xavier Smith I totally agree. This was a gospel flavored song. I love Patti but Darryl IS gospel and truthfully could have performed that song by himself and killed. I say this as a gospel fan of Daryl. Patti was awesome as usual but they both were under time constraints. (It's a frigging award show.) But just imagine if Patti and Daryl had more time and could have cut loose. I mean this small performance was hot; but if they could have 'do-what-they-do' ...oh my god!

I’m saying it again: she is fortunate that Daryl is a gentleman because not too many vocalists can stand toe to toe with Patti, but Daryl Coley was one who could-and wouldn’t have to lay on his back with his legs in the air to bring the house down!

This Michael Jackson at his prime. The wonderful thing about MJ is he would recognize talent regardless of the public knowledge of an artist. Daryl Coley wasn't much known outside of gospel, but MJ loved how Coley sang and wanted him to do it. Daryl did not disappoint either. We need more of this...

I also love the WMA '06 where the audience gave him about a 5-minute standing ovation. He deserved the accolades after what he had been through in '05. I was at the World Music Awards in 2006. The audience did not give Michael a 5 minute standing ovation. They gave him like a 1 hour standing ovation. 99% of the audience were there for #MichaelJackson that night. It was magic. 💙👑💙🌍💙

My brother had the honor to meet him in person for an audition back in the 90's and even though he didn't make it to the final round he spoke to Michael briefly and he seemed to be a very humble nice person, which is more than I can say for celebrities today that are not even half as big as he was

Just an end note, those who die in Christ await his return, they will rise from the grave, the righteous who are alive will be caught up with them and then they all inherit eternal life (not heaven)...All of this can be verified from Genesis to Revelation.
