I think his depth of analysis is way better than most, but he's definitely stubborn. Not sure what actual on-field basis there's ever been to Jackson/Darcy not working, and that's with Jackson still so young, still developing as a forward and general around the field player and decision maker

As a Blues fan, can't help but think that both Crippa and Walsh have to fire each time we play a top 8 side in order to win. Agree that Hewett should be in the team, he's good at the contest. We definitely need another key tall defender, I feel that Weitering needs more support.
You’re right, Cripps and Walsh are great but let’s be honest, no other Carlton midfielder would make the side of most other clubs in top eight.

Freo went chippy chippy went they should have been going forward in the last 5 mins. Luke Ryan was junking hard.
Freo just didnt kick straight. Kicked 4.6 in that extremely dominant 3rd qrt, could easily have been winning by 30 pts at 3QT.
Darcy Moore's best footy is behind him. Maybe give the captaincy to someone else and possibly put him on the trade table or delist him.
I love the fact that Collingwood can’t drop Darcy Dud Moore because he is their “captain” It keeps them crap and easy to beat.
yeah , pies fan here and you are right. I 100% agree with you, apart from the 'l love the fact " part lol. Dropping him is losing 'face' , admitting they got it wrong and embarrassing for the club. Who cares, its worse to keep playing him becasue we lose selection integrity and have the worst captain not only in Collingwoord history but the history of VFL/AFL. Moore in the side is giving the other team a five goal start. I mean he cost us two goals in the first two minutes Friday! Enjoy the rest of the year, as Darcy could lay down in the goals square and have a nap all game and still not get dropped.

Schultz played decent midfield minutes at freo and was good in there. The mids have been getting demolished and yet no changes, and players like Hill and Schultz (who have pace and tricks, Schultz is good tackler and plays aggresively) are struggling to get into the game because of how the forward structure works and only getting 10-15 opportunities to get their hands on it.
It's clear that change is required, in midfield and defence. So I'd look at that.

There we go. Unable to accept criticism. Moore was praised to no end due to his leadership and being one of the best key defenders in the comp, but now that he is in a patch of bad form he can’t be criticized? In fact, I am not an overly big fan of Cornes, BUT he was one of the staunch admirers of Moore in the past.
