Watched my first live All Blacks test at Eden Park against the Wallabies in 2008 one of the best experiences ever that I went to watched them live again in 2009,2011,2012,2015 all against Australia and against France In 2013.
My first live All Blacks Test was also at Eden Park, against the 1959 Lions. The result wasn't what I wanted.

in the '11 final that lineout move woodcock goes over the line barely touched lol. As a loosey we trained them moves, but nowhere near as cool as the AB's doing it in the final of the world cup. one of my top favourite happy moments in life. 💪🖤
For someone who doesn't live in Auckland. I'm glad to say I was there for: 12,17,19,23,27,40 & 41. Hopefully I'm there in 2025 when they finally lose to SA 😢. I'm picking it now.
The Crowd at Eden Park will just be the All Blacks Cheer Squad, the vast majority will be Watching, it's the ones you don't see or hear that the All Blacks will be focused on.

Nah, the All Blacks have an impressive winning record against Argentina at Eden Park. Los Pumas were knocked out of the 2011 World Cup there by New Zealand.

You would have to think that in 2025 the springboks will have 2 test matches in New Zealand. one of those test matches will most probably be at Eden Park the record will tested.
The Springboks are undefeated at Eden Park since 2013, having played the All Blacks at Eden Park twice this century.
thats amazing ay, you'd think SA would play more matches in NZ's biggest city. Even when they moved it to North Harbour stadium instead of Eden Park it was a hiding so maybe it's the city as well as the stadium

Not a kiwi fan but I think the most impressive thing is all but 2 or 3 of these 49 matches have been against top sides. Not Tonga, Japan, Romania, etc.

I think NZ is way too alarmed. The defeat against Pumas has only one explanation, and that's that in the last two decades, Argentina has climbed to another rugby level (like many other teams, but probably the most notable case). New Zealand has become accustomed to being alone at the top for half a century, and I think that is why it is alarmed. But you're still NZ, in terms of your people breathing rugby. Rugby it is something that is deeply ingrained in your culture, like fútbol here in Argentina, and that's something that cannot be equaled overnight.

This disturbs me as a Kiwi ,to think Eden Park is our fortress and a grave yard for IRB nations.For my perspective it is about our able bodied, men putting in an honest performance and giving their ALL first for each other and not some legacy to a rugby ground . Our guys should NEVER be placed in this position.If i were Argentina or whoever my approach would be to play with intensity and commitment, ignore the legacy.
