- This week we spend our birthdays at Glenmore Campsite, take a bus ride to the Cairngorm ski centre and tackle the bolders on our way to Coire an t - Sneachda. Then we journey to Fort Augustus at the western tip of Loch Ness, stay on the Loch Ness Caravan Park and take a cruise on the world famous Loch Ness searching for the renowned Loch Ness Monster, Nessie.
This is episode 144 in a series of videos cataloguing our post retirement adventures. We are Kath and Sue and we are travelling the UK with our dog Fudge and living full time in our Burstner Elegance Motorhome. We have given up conventional living for a new van-life, enjoying the freedom of the road and plenty of time outdoors taking in the beautiful countryside the UK has to offer.
thank you cath, for another lovely vlog! i love scottland. i was there only once, 22 years ago now, but my memories of the beautiful hikes and the landscape are still very vivid.
Thank you. I think once experienced Scotland would be very hard to forget. 🤗🙏🚌❤️
Happy birthdays Kath and Sue thank you for sharing your adventures also the lovely Fudge xx
Awwww. Thank you. 🙏 🚌🤗❤️
Thank you for this lovely vlog Kath. I think they get better and better. Have only been to Scotland once so am really enjoying everything you're showing me.
Thank you. That’s really kind of you to say. Scotland is lovely so not hard to find gorgeous places. 🙏🤗🚌❤️
Happy birthday both Kath and Sue glad you had a wonderful time fudge also enjoyed herself with her lovely walks please take care keep safe best wishes Sheila and family
Thank you. A good time had by all. Fudge is always happy when she’s out and about with us. 🙏🤗🚌❤️
Always so lovely to see you
Thank you 🙏 🤗🚌❤️
This is the first video i have seen of yours and i am thanking the algorithm for bringing me such calming, genuine, lovely and well produced content. I have lymes disease and have lost my 20's to being bed bound by pain, with dreams of being able to explore this beautiful country like you are. So, this does wonders for my soul (and ideas for when i can one day beat this, as i will be watching the rest now). Thank you!
Oh thank you for such lovely comments. I’m so sorry that you’re in pain. I have heard that Luke’s disease can be a really bad long term condition. I do hope you get some improvement so you can enjoy the outdoors again. There is more of Scotland to come so I hope you can continue to enjoy watching for now. 🤗🙏🚌❤️
Thank you for a lovely vlog again Kath and taking me to places I can’t reach. Happy belated birthday to you both. The flowers look like Devil's-bit Scabious! What a surprise and pleasure to meet you all at Loch Ness campsite and I hope you remembered to pick up your BBQ apologies for shouting at you to let you know🤭 Good luck Sue with those chords! We had a wonderful 2 wk tour of Scotland and can’t wait to go back as we didn’t see the dolphins at Fortrose plus so much more! Fun fact - Caledonian canal built for naval ships originally is 60 miles long, 29 locks, 4 aqueducts and 10 bridges and completed in 1822. Unintentionally we seemed to have travelled to both ends on our tour! Happy and safe travels to you 😊
Thank you. It was lovely to meet you too and thank goodness or I may have been BBQ-less. I don’t know what I would have done without it. 😂 happy travels. We may bump into you again sometime. 🤗🙏🚌❤️
Devils bit scabious part of the honeysuckle family or another name is succisa apparently beautiful love Scotland xx
Thank you. Another one to add to me repertoire of flowers. 🙏🤗🚌❤️

I really enjoy your channel, Especially the way you cover.
I Noticed a few areas Where I could help optimize your videos to reach a larger audience. Would you be open to discussing this further?
Thank you. I do occasionally receive emails asking the same question but this is really just a hobby for me and and am very grateful to anyone who watches and have found over time that it feels like we have a lovely community so I’m not really worried about optimizing my videos, but thanks for reaching out anyway.
Ahh you made it to FA then 😁 belated birthday wishes 🎉 Are you in Gretna by any chance 🤔 Em 💜 x
