Seriously glad you saw the similarity between the raid around Crescent Lake and the road Between Inverness and Fort William. I've said that many times. Glad you enjoyed your time in my homeland.
I hope to go to Scotland sometime. I am learning Gaelic and I have discovered that my daughter has the name of this country, her name is Alba. A wonderful video. Greetings from Barcelona
You should visit the highlands around the 2nd half of june. The extra daylight takes a bit of getting used to. I love it. But then you cannot help but love the Scottish Highlands.
You two have been in some beautiful parts of the world and have made awesome videos. But this, Scotland, touches my heart for some reason. Great job as usual! 👍🏻😊🏴
We just had our trip last month. It was wonderful. We had a 9-day road trip plus two days Edinburgh. I was only disappointed by Inverness,, besecause we thought there not so many attractions its rather a small city. Only the Clava stones outside were interesting there. Glencoe region was our favorite, really unreal landscape in October. Isle Of Skye we had badluck with the weather but also very nice, especially the lighthouse place on the far west.
So glad it helped!!! Amazing country 👍🏻 The song is "Cinematic Celtic Inspiring Flutes" licensed from Envato elements.envato.com/cinematic-celtic-inspiring-flutes-L934ET2
It is only from September 2023, so after you were there, that we were in Scotland. For a month, the trip from Belgium included. So with the campervan from Dover all the way up and back. And not for the first time. And certainly not for the last time. Just seeing your report makes us want to go back. Especially that we saw the same things you saw. We even spent the night across the lake overlooking Urquhart Castle. We visited that before so now we traveled on the other side of the lake. Beautiful country, and very interesting to visit by motorhome. A tip for the future: Norway. With the camper. In terms of nature even more beautiful and bigger but a lot further for us. Further I would say: keep travelling, the world is beautiful everywhere. Sorry for my English, it is not my native language but we try... Greetings from Belgium🤗
Thanks for watching and for dropping us a comment! Taking our camper out there would be a dream!! Hopefully someday 🤞🏻 would also love to visit your home county!
We just used Google maps. Made sure to download offline maps for the whole area. Didn't have any issues 👍🏻 Also make sure your copilot is 100% paying attention to your driving. It takes a minute to get used to the different feel and view 🤪 Helps to have the extra eyes and support
Traffic on that road is always the same heading to Perth, travel it many times. Once you get past the first roundabout where the traffic always builds up going into Perth, then it is usual easy from there right up to Inverness.
I did a full week driving through the highlands, also went to isle of Skye and mull. I had so many white knuckle moments I can’t even tell you. We had hurricane remnants blowing through that week as well. It was interesting.
Beautiful video, you had a long drive! Urquhart castle is pronounced Urq-heart; Edinburgh is pronounced Edin-brah; Those seed limit are not the max speed limit, not suggested speed limit. Yes, its also dangerous to drive too slow. 50PH is an acceptable speed, but don't drive 40MPH in the 60MPH. If traffic is pilling up behind you stop into the nearest parking layby. When exiting the layby pull out in from of traffic to which they have to slam on the brakes. Most tourist/historical sites are only open April 1-October 31 and peak crowds are late May to first week of September. Just some helpful info from an American who's been to the UK 12 times and has tour guide friends in Scotland. But hats off to you, I can only do 2 hour drives in Scotland.
Came accross this searching for places to go as we are taking the caravan to the highlands next month with the kids. Thank you! Urqhuart Castle looks awesome!!💙 and 3-sisters-viewpoint!
Just found your channel and love your content. We are heading up there in 2 weeks and cant wait. Thanks for a great video. New subscriber here :) BIG thumbs up from Yorkshire!
Wow you covered a lot of ground in one day. We spent 5 months in our campervan (and about 23 TH-cam videos) and lived there for five years and still couldn’t see enough. Scotland is a special place ❤️ 🏴 🥃
Beautiful scenery! What an amazing trip. Is “Brown Sauce” maybe HP sauce? My folks were from Dundee and a bottle of HP sauce was a staple on the table 😊
Yeh see your at broxden roundabout or crash central as i call it wait long enough and you can build a house the amount of trucks that topple with the camber on roundabout traffic cops always sitting there …love your video haste ye back
Good tip , Scotch is what you drink Scottish is what they are and if you don’t want to fall out with the locals I would remember that bit A lot of the camper van sites will have electric hookup and so where to empty your waste , so not basic basic
A little friendly advice, the term Scotch refers exclusively to inanimate objects rather than people, it's akin to referring to American people as Americana. The correct term for a person from Scotland is Scottish, or Albannach in Scottish Gaelic. :) That was a lovely video, it was very well shot and edited, I'm Scottish myself and have family in the highlands and have travelled those roads many a time. Sometimes you need a reminder of just how beautiful and sometimes breathtaking the scenery can be in your own country. A truly wonderland part of the world that encapsulates endless time steeped in history folklore and even romance. Unfortunately due to the hectic pace of the modern world, I had become a bit blasé over the years travelling the highlands neglecting to take a step back and was guilty of thinking more of the destination than the journey.
Another Awesome Video! Thanks for sharing. Can’t wait for you two, to do more tear drop camping videos back in the states :)! Also wondering if you can do a review on the Roam Case in the future. Safe travels! from 🇨🇦🤙🏾
you people are so predictable, one minute your praising the beauty of scotland then you find some stupid irrelevant noise, that you call music and completely ruin the video.

Do it!!!! You won't regret it!

Scottish Highlands Road Trip - Don't Miss These Sites | Driving In Scotland
How long did this road trip take?
We did it in one long day, but recommend taking longer.
What time of year was this???
End of February 👍🏻
Can you please share what month was this & how many days the road trip took?
Sure. This was in February and we did it in one long day.
Good tip , Scotch is what you drink Scottish is what they are and if you don’t want to fall out with the locals I would remember that bit

That was not a normal campground, just a stop off It is a Scottish or Scot's experience not Scotch, Scotch is a drink.

mini best car
You rented a mini, to drive around Scotland… you guys are awesome!! Just the perfect car (apart from the tranny) for driving around Scotland!!
Haha, thank you! It really was the right size for those roads!
LOL we have seen 1 jeep the whole day. Why would you expect to see jeeps? We do have them, but they are not popular here.
We're so used to seeing them everywhere in the US. Just something we noticed that was different in Scotland. Thanks for watching!

“We DID Scotland in a day. It was quaint”
You did 30,000 square miles in a day.....Yeah, I smell some bs
Yes, if we would've said we did that, that would be definite BS 😂 However, we just did the Highlands on this day 👍🏻 Still a full day though!!
🥰🥰🥰🥰
👌🏔👍🐑
Wrong side😂. Where we’re going, we don’t need roads.😂
🤣🤣🤣
You are right, they drive in the wrong side of the street! Its so confusing!!!
🤣🤣🤣
We do not need people in these films. There is more than enough scenery to film. Just commentate
Thanks for watching!!
