That's all fine and dandy, but you need to make the permadith option by itself. There needs to be easy, normal, and hard, WITHOUT permadeath. This game looks like a lot of fun, but I will not spend one penny on it until permadeath is a setting by itself.
@@24blade00724 the dev is committed to the permadeath of the Eastern areas, it seems. I'm sure someone will make a mod that gest rid of it tho, the dev has given the green light to modders and said he won't stop them from modding the game.

I really do like that in-game storage shelter. It also doesn’t look too painful to place items (though I have seen you encounter bugs, but the game isn’t done either). It’s a nice change from the main menu simulator that EFT is.
@@thestarvox Very cool, best of luck on your survival this time around! @@Puppe-sx2hq once you know how to follow the edge of the map, and where mines are located, I find it to not be too hard. Having a mosin or high magnification optic is a must. You clear the closest tower to your chosen path, proceed to destroy the mines on the path. Then cross it and then follow the edge of the map. Just make sure that you are clear and there are no remaining mines in between covers and you should be golden. The actual difficult part is not getting killed in radar, and finally crossing back the minefield. I've been badly surprised on my way back multiple times in minefield, because you can have enemies waiting for you right away.
38:25, oh god. I thought this game looked interesting, if somewhat tedious with the needing to physically travel around and place objects in the stash. but forced ironman mode? that's a shame
I'm fine with the loot system. Physicality in a loot oriented game is an interesting aspect imo. It's satisfying to organize and pile up resources. The current placing system does need a rework though so the user can place objects more seamlessly and quickly. Regarding Perma death, I discussed it with a friend and realized that it may indeed be problematic, since it contradicts the hoarding aspect of the game. Why spend tenths of hours collecting items when you can lose it all in an instant once you cross the border (especially since according to RtV website, half of the maps will be in the Perma death zone) ? Even if you go there ultra prepared, accidents can happen... In my opinion, Antti should change that. Make a high requirement to cross : place a ''bet'' involving a lot of loot. If you survive and come back you can get it back, if you die, you lose it. But whatever you kept in your hideout, stays in your hideout. This way you still have a high risk, but you still get to keep some things...

I oriented my post toward Perma death, and also added in the same thread a rather lengthy explanation of a mechanic I designed to solve that problem. I'd be curious to know if other people think that this concept is good. If you ever read it I'd be glad to get your thoughts 👍
Nobody is forcing you to go to vostok. All the progression currently happens in the non permadeath area but in vostok there is better gear. That will change when the faction leaders get added and they most likely will be in vostok

Thats the easy part. Getting to radar portal is the difficult

How do you her the light? Id it the polaris? And of it is how do you use it ?
where you found the batterys? I have only found 1 in 5 hours I have playd
They’re super rare for me right now.
I find them by chance in the Village most of the time.
where can i find the batteries ?
I tend to find them in the Village most often, but there haven’t been many in my runs since the last update. I found one last night and was surprised.
why are you not dumping ammo from the weapons?
