Love my fast charger. Can charge up a 5ah for my saw while taking my lunch
you can read the back of the charger for output. output amps x volt (120v)is total watt hour. the 12amp charger should say output at 12amp, curious what the other chargers out put was? 2amp?
I am dumping the charger that I have . It came with my 2AH battery. I used it last night to charge my 6AH battery I started from around 5:30 PM in the evening. At 11:00 PM just before I retired to bed it was still charging. I cant have that I just ordered the fast charger.
How much did the battery charge drop after a quick charge? Fast charging can't save 100% battery charge. There is always a voltage drop of 5-10%
With only 3 bars to judge off I would not see a 10% decrease. I haven’t noticed any reduced battery life. My understanding is the last 20% of the charge is slower to save battery longevity, so by fast charging you are ultimately giving up a longer battery life overall

Why did you compare the DCB1112 against the DCB113? Why not compare it to the DCB115? Just curious...
Because the two identical batteries I used came with the DCB113, so it was best to compare the factory equipment to the fast Charger to know how much faster it was. I felt that was better than using 2 chargers the batteries didn’t come with at all.
@@dannyjohnsonsgarage Would you mind doing a follow up against the DCB115 using only one battery? I think that would give a more accurate comparison of the chargers. Too many variables when comparing charging times of 2 different batteries being charged in 2 different chargers. When you held up the DCB1112 I couldn't help but notice the pornography in the background! She is nice!
Nice review 👍🏻. Question? Have you tried to compare how long the same amp battery lasts after you use a fast charger vs charger that comes with it.
I haven’t, but at full charge it should be the same until the battery gets old. Over time slow charging should be better for the battery life
@@dannyjohnsonsgarage oh! Thanks. That's what I was wondering. I might want a fast charger then too. I recall years ago differences with nickel cadmium and metal hydroxide batteries not holding a charge if you charged them fast. Seems the lithium ion doesn't have that issue. 👍🏻

No, it’s for 20V. I have seen chargers you can buy that will do both like the DCB1106
