no matter how long your video gets or is... I can never get bored or tired of you. your voice, the way you speak, the topic of the video....everything is just absolutely incredible. your soo funny and I love your accent
So glad you included the St. Ives green tea scrub. That stuff works miracles. I went a few months without it because I had some other products to use up and I could genuinely tell a difference after I started using it again.
Girl you don't need to apologize for how long your videos are. I love the longer ones. It's your channel and your subscribers subscribe for a reason...because your videos are great and you're just easy to listen to (you don't come off as some "better than everyone else" personality).
Try the Kiehls avocado eye cream. It's creamy and when you pat it-it feels like water super rich and moisturizing. I have dry skin and I am 40 years old and I barely have any lines. I use this religiously every night over the midnight recovery eye serum also from Kiehls.
I'm so glad to find someone with dry, dry skin like me! It seems like most people I know have oily skin, so I can't take recommendations on skin care products from them! Thanks for the video, Kathleen!
OMG I'm so happy your talking about coconut oil to remove make up. Coconut oil is my absolute favorite skin care product and hair and nails and whatever else I want to slab it on. But the best is to use it as a make up remover. Soooo happy your talking about this. I feel like not a lot of beauty blogger and you tubers talk about natural ways on skin care.
OMG!! WHERE HAS THIS VIDEO BEEN MY WHOLE LIFE!! I LEGIT HAVE THE EXACT SKIN PROBLEMS AND ISSUES AS YOU AND NOT EVEN MY DERMO UNDERSTANDS WHAT I'M SAYING! AHHH!! THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU! I AM LITERALLY GOING TO GO OUT AND BUY HALF OF THESE PRODUCTS! :D AMAZING VIDEO!
SUPER Helpful video because my skin is EXACTLY suffering as you described yours as. PAINFUL Cystic-like acne when I get it (a product broke me out) or else NO pimples at all. And clogged pores and white bumps under my skin. UGHHH It’s SO annoying. THANKS SO MUCH KATHLEEN!!
I've watched this vid the day it first time came online.. and that week I immediately bought a bunch of origins products, including the clay mask, night a mins and overnight mask. Also the ginzing daycreme gel formula (I think that's the spelling). And I'm hooked! It's amazing and I love all of it. Actually wearing the overnight mask right now and I dot the clay mask a lot of the time just on some spots and go to sleep. In the morning my face feels amazing. So in love.
you are my favorite youtuber! i love how you went through each product and explained HOW it will help, not just listed everything like most people do, thank you for always being the best! love you!
Great recommendations!! I love Origins as well and just got that night a mins to try last week and was happy to hear you recommended it bc I had gone back and forth on it but finally bought it!! I made a list of other things to try from this video! Loved how you really explained each product!!
I love lots of Origins products. I don't know why it doesn't get the love it deserves. One of my favorites is the Ginzeng Energizing Gel moisturizer. It smells so good, is never heavy. I use it under my eyes too and it reduces puffiness.
I've been binge watching your videos for the past couple of days! I had to comment to recommend Peter Thomas Roth Firmx Peeling gel! It's a great exfoliator. You rub it in circular motion and you see the dead skin being removed right then and there! And great for sensitive skin. I was skeptical at first. But I tried a sample and loved it! I love your channel Kathleen! And you have beautiful skin!
The list of skincare products that I need to buy after this video is insane!! You make all of these sound so amazing, that I'm basically going to run out and buy all of them! lol!!
I loved how in depth you went with each of the products. It really helps! I want to try that Aztec clay mask, and the fact that it won't break the bank is a huge plus! Thanks Kathleen!
I love how I have the same skin type as you! Even though ive only been watching your videos for about a months ive watched almost all of them and you are by far my favorite beauty guru! love everything about your personality!
Girl! I love the little acne spot remover from origins, totally agree to focus on stuff that keeps your face healthy! That generally where im willing to spend the extra dollar! I dont wear a lot of makeup and whenever I do wear some, many days later I do see the effects on my face, and origins is awesome to take care of it!
I got the Origins 500 point bonus box from Sephora and have fallen in LOVE with them all! I especially love the Check and Balances Face Wash. I just used the Boots Botanics mask last night from a sample I got. Immediately put it on my favorites list. Thanks for a great video!
Love love LOVE this video!!! Thank you so much for this video. Very helpful and insightful and I love the fact that you incorporate products for sensitive dry skin that are more natural / organic. You go girl!
I LOVE the origins night-a-mins cream! It seriously might be the one skincare item I can not live without. It plays a big part in keeping my skin clear, healthy, and hydrated!
Another reason to mix the Aztec clay with ACV and not water is because calcium bentonite clay is alkaline - not good for your skin on its own. But mixed with ACV (which must be raw and undiluted), the ph is neutralised and it will do great things for your face! Loved this video, you have a really great channel.
I just spent almost half an hour watching a video ... And I actually don't mind ! ❤️ I love your videos ! I also like how you interact and respond to your subbies
I was so happy to see this video. I too have really dry skin and actually have a lot of the products you mentioned. Some of those I don't have I've been wanting to try, especially the Aztec Indian Healing Clay. I wanted to mention that something that has worked for me for exfoliating is a mixture of coconut oil and baking soda. I mix the two into a paste consistency and store it in a small container that I keep in the shower. I've tried other scrubs that work great, the St Ives one you featured included, but the fineness of the baking soda makes it feel like a microdermabrasion treatment and I personally prefer using something without chemicals in it. Plus, there's no beating the price point. Anyway, I'm a huge fan and I love your videos :)
I have the EXACT same skin as you! (I'm saying it like its a good thing, haha!) Finally, I found a TH-cam vloggers that has the same skin type plus you're so awesome to watch, thanks for the recommendations, I swear I have tried everything for my skin finally feel like I have a good regimen. I will definitely be trying out some Of the products you have suggested. Yay!
omggg!!! I have been dealing with the same skin issue and ive been looking for a good skin care regime that will work and I have watched many of your videos and you are really the only youtuber that I trust with any product and im excited to look into some the products here! thank you Kathleen
Just a quick tip; using a foaming face wash is probably the worst thing you can do to your face if you have dry or sensitive skin. It removes the protective lipid layer that we naturally have on our skin, which makes the skin unprotected (great conditions for bacteria) and extremely dry. Have you tried using a cleansing milk or cleansing balm? I think it would really help you out with the dryness! Doesn't sound fun with the flaking skin /: Loved the video! You are always so informative - and great recommendations. I totally agree on splurging on skincare :)
I really want to try some of the products you recommend, but a lot of it is just sooo pricey and I understand that you believe in spending a lot of money on skincare, which I completely agree, but I am just absolutely not able to afford 90% of those products. I was just wondering if you could maybe make a video on some of your favorite (more affordable) skincare products. I wish I could buy these things because your skin is just FLAWLESS!
I could literally use this video as a shopping list! your suggestions are fantastic and from what I've tried personally from what you've said before, work for me like no other! thanks for being amazing!
There is a small version of the Thirst Glam Glow, I recently went to Sephora and saw it but I contemplated on picking it up. Now I HAVE to try it! We have the exact same skin problem and I watched this awhile back as well and I started using Origins products, and it's done WONDERS to my skin. Thank you so much for your help. As soon as my skin was getting better, I was so much more confident. I love your videos and you help so many people. THANK YOU SO MUCH!
Skin Drink Facial moisturizer is great for dry skin :) pair it up with Angels on Bare Skin cleanser to help exfoliate and Eau Roma water toner to reduce redness
I am brand new to your channel but it's soooo good to see someone your age taking such good care of your skin. I'm sorry I don't know your age but you look super young, but I really wish I'd had such a good skincare routine at your age. It is so, so important to take great care of your skin once you hit your teens and up. Great video and makes me want to try some of the Origins skincare, total skincare addict here!
girllll! i was so shocked to see (after your intro of needing expensive high end skincare) a good chunk of what uou use is natural inexpensive earth given products you can pick up at sprouts for super cheap that i already own and have tried myself. i went on a huge "all natural, no chem, homemade" beauty challenge basically and it was working.. til it wasnt and now im investing in products from sephora and ulta due to youtube recommendations from you, Stephanie nicole, and one other i cant remember her name. mainly because i can try before i buy, get samples at sephora and my skin was just toooooo freakin dry. dry patches ALL DAY. in your words "the sahara" lol. love you doing these skincare updates. idc how old they are. i will continue watching and catching up. my guy at sephora is really awsome and well educated but also has oily skin so its nice to have people on youtube that have similar skin types that can personally speak for products that have worked for them. thanks so much!
Our skin is soul sisters. Same exact type. I have half of these products plus a few of my own holy grail products as I have very dry/sensitive skin (basically eczema) I actually use argan oil every day and night. I absolutely can't live w/o it. A few products that work wonders for my skin that you would love are aloe Vera gel and shea butter. I use these in a diy night cream I make. I also add jojoba oil to my aztec clay mask so it isn't as drying to my face and that works wonders... Love you soul sister. Keep up the awesome videos
Such a great video, it feels a lot more relatable than other youtubers skin videos. I feel like I was listening to a real persons favorites. Not the same products I hear from just about everyone! I actually use a lot of those same things, the night time moisturizer, toner, and bentonite clay, I'm a big Origins fan as well :)
Can you make a video about websites that you go to when your buying beauty or skincare online ? Like example best 5 underrated sites to buy makeup from other than Sephora that you can trust. Cause sometimes you might get nervous about buying from a site you've never heard of .you know :)
QVC.com & HSN.com offer 90% of what Sephora sales, offers a 30 day use & money back, NO QUESTIONS ASKED, Warranty. They don't care if you return it empty as long as its before 30 days. Great way to try skin care & cosmetics! They have been around for over 35yrs! Safe online shopping. Check them out!
A little background: I've sensitive, oily skin with a few dry patches. I've NEVER found a good cleanser that wouldn't break me out. (the philosophy cleanser included). Then, one day, I watched your morning routine and decided to buy the Fresh cleanser. And omg it's amazing!!
Right on, young lady. Thayers is the BEST. I've used it for many years. Try the Rose Water. So Good. You use a varied and an intelligent array of products. Me too!! Super vid. xxoo
Wow!! I love this video! So many youtubers don't do such thorough videos because I think people don't want to watch such a long video, but for me - the more detailed the better! Love it. Thanks so much. I will def be on the hunt for some of these great products. I would like to throw out some recommendations to you (as I feel we have similar skin types): the brand Alpha H - really great products with alpha hydroxy acids in them. I love the Smoothing and Perfecting mask, and their iconic Liquid Gold, and their micro-cleanse and their cleansers. Also Mario Badescu does some great glycolic acid cleansers and toners (I like to wash with MB at night time and purity in the morning). Also I love Lush's Mask of Magnaminity for a great mask and scrub. xo
I love Thayer's! I have combo, acne-prone, reactive skin with highly-cloggable pores, and their toners really help my skin, especially if I use the toner with an exfoliating cotton round. I use the aloe version, and it seems to help balance my skin. As long as I keep up with using it, it seems to help keep my skin clearer, too.
Elo Bus Try the ones from LUSH. I was using the Tea Tree one for years, recently just switched to Eau Roma because my skins been really sensitive, but both are really amazing.
coconut oil.. so many uses! besides cooking with it, I use it to take off eye makeup too. I also use it as a nighttime facial moisturizer sometimes. it's great for an under eye moisturizer. you just can't beat natural skincare!
And if you have dry/damaged hair put it in your hair ends to roots and leave it on for 20 mins up to a few hours. Then shampoo 2x and condition once.... Your hair will feel sooo soft and smooth and wonderful! My hair stylist told me to do it instead of buying a super expensive hair mask!
YOU ARE THE ONLY TH-camR/PERSON THAT I HAVE EVER FOUND THAT HAS EXACTLY THE SAME SKIN TEXTURE/TYPE AS ME!!!! Thank you so much omg, i have the bumpiest driest cheeks!! Going to be watching you ALOT!
Loved this video! Loved how long it was, skin care is like my main passion/hobby within the "beauty" world... These were some fabulous suggestions! I think I'll have to try a couple of these since u seem to know ur skin care stuff!
I have dry sensitive skin as well, I was using the fresh soy face wash, but the Tarte Rainforest of the sea deep dive gel leaves my skin so, so soft, and clean, I've been using that one every day lately. I try everything Kathleen recommends because we have the same skin issues basically, so origins here I come ;-)
Your skin looks so gorgeous in this video! I already have a list to buy a lot of these products, especially that healing clay mask I really need that in my life!
Gurl I am right there with you. My skin is the EXACT same as yours. I love watching your videos and seeing the products that work for you. Cause if they work for you, THEY'LL WORK FOR ME!
Great video, kat! So informative. Much more helpful than just a morning/night routine. I now have a list of some things to buy and try. I have oily skin so I'm happy you had recommendations for that skin type too. I'm keen try some masks and the eye creams. Xx
Hi Kathleen, I am a beauty therapist and also suffer from some milia , you will know if it is milia if when you steam your face they will not pop if you squeeze them they are like hard pearlised bumps under the skin and you can get them micro lanced which is just exfoliating the area, steaming it and then the therapist gently scrapes the head of the milia with a needle and it can be extracted. It works really well just thought id share some info to let you know that it can go away!:) xx
Physician's Formula makeup products are really good for your skin. I have always had dull skin, so I recently bought their new Argan Wear Ultra-Nourishing Argan Oil Bronzer. I use it everyday and it gives my skin an exotic bronzing glow that I love. Since I have been using it on a daily basis, I have noticed that even after taking the makeup off, it has left me with skin that has more of a glow to it and my skin has looked so much healthier since I've started using it!
I just love your videos! You're so entertaining to watch. I think I'm gonna pick up the Origins spot treatment at some point soon! Thanks for sharing your favorite skin care picks, Kathleen!
I know you thought you had way too many masks, but that was SO helpful. That's the one part of my skin care routine I'm looking to expand, so that was awesome to hear so many new products I didn't know of. Thanks Kathleen!!
Dude I'm so trying that toner. I can never do toner either because it makes my skin feel like a cracked mirror! I am a Origins lover as well I so didn't know about the coupon codes though. If you are new to Origins find your local store, they give out awesome samples! Thanks Kathleen for another good video! Take care hun!
when she said "i thought i would not wear any makeup for a skincare video" SUBSCRIBED!!!
no matter how long your video gets or is... I can never get bored or tired of you. your voice, the way you speak, the topic of the video....everything is just absolutely incredible. your soo funny and I love your accent
I could watch you for hours. You're so cute with and without makeup! Your skin looks so clear and beautiful. :) xoxo
Thank you Jade! You're so sweet xoxo
So glad you included the St. Ives green tea scrub. That stuff works miracles. I went a few months without it because I had some other products to use up and I could genuinely tell a difference after I started using it again.
It's definitely one of the best scrubs out there
Origins is AMAZING! I love the scent of all their products too.
How did I just find your channel now?! You're so real and honest with your reviews. TH-cam needs more guru's like you. Love your videos!
Girl you don't need to apologize for how long your videos are. I love the longer ones. It's your channel and your subscribers subscribe for a reason...because your videos are great and you're just easy to listen to (you don't come off as some "better than everyone else" personality).
You got me into origins and I bought practically everything you mentioned and my skin has never been better!
Try the Kiehls avocado eye cream. It's creamy and when you pat it-it feels like water super rich and moisturizing. I have dry skin and I am 40 years old and I barely have any lines. I use this religiously every night over the midnight recovery eye serum also from Kiehls.
Hmm I'm gonna look into that! Thanks
Doggie sits behind you and wonders whom you are talking to ...soooo cute
SHE IS SO AMAZING AND BEAUTIFUL AND SEEMS LIKE SUCH A GREAT PERSON I'M OBSESSSEEEDDDDD WITH KATHLEEN
I'm so glad to find someone with dry, dry skin like me! It seems like most people I know have oily skin, so I can't take recommendations on skin care products from them! Thanks for the video, Kathleen!
Lawd send me the money to buy all of these amazing products. #needinmylife.
Hahaha
***** XD LOL
Same :(
OMG I'm so happy your talking about coconut oil to remove make up. Coconut oil is my absolute favorite skin care product and hair and nails and whatever else I want to slab it on. But the best is to use it as a make up remover. Soooo happy your talking about this. I feel like not a lot of beauty blogger and you tubers talk about natural ways on skin care.
*don't talk about coconut oil
I feel the same too:) I have been eyeing on the origins spot remover for a long time!
me too gurll! I could never find any other TH-camr with skin like mine so I never used the products they used until I found Kathleen!!!
So in love.

Great recommendations!! I love Origins as well and just got that night a mins to try last week and was happy to hear you recommended it bc I had gone back and forth on it but finally bought it!! I made a list of other things to try from this video! Loved how you really explained each product!!
Thank you!! I hope it works for you like it works for me!! I'm obsessed.
You make all of these sound so amazing, that I'm basically going to run out and buy all of them! lol!!
Lolololol thanks giiiiirl
I loved how in depth you went with each of the products. It really helps! I want to try that Aztec clay mask, and the fact that it won't break the bank is a huge plus! Thanks Kathleen!
I love how I have the same skin type as you! Even though ive only been watching your videos for about a months ive watched almost all of them and you are by far my favorite beauty guru! love everything about your personality!
See thank you so much!!! Xoxo
I need to try some of these products! I have super sensitive skin too! And your skin looks super gorgeous!
Thank you!
I got the Origins 500 point bonus box from Sephora and have fallen in LOVE with them all! I especially love the Check and Balances Face Wash. I just used the Boots Botanics mask last night from a sample I got. Immediately put it on my favorites list. Thanks for a great video!
We have the exact same skin type and issues. This was super helpful. Thank you for sharing!
Love love LOVE this video!!! Thank you so much for this video. Very helpful and insightful and I love the fact that you incorporate products for sensitive dry skin that are more natural / organic. You go girl!
You are so naturally beautiful!! Thanks for all the help I have really similar skin!
I LOVE the origins night-a-mins cream! It seriously might be the one skincare item I can not live without. It plays a big part in keeping my skin clear, healthy, and hydrated!
Cornelious is watching you like: " What the heck girl"??? Are you Nuts???" that is sooooo funny!!!! I love him!!
Hahahahh
hahaha!

Could you do a updated skin care routine video??! Please! :)
Ijust discovered your channel and really enjoy watching. Thanks for being so honest and genuine. It really shines through.
Have you tried any Lush products? They work wonders on me! I love their fresh masks and skin products :) please try!
No I haven't! I have ALWAYS wanted to though!
They're not as expensive as Origins and they do wonders :) you'll fall in love!
Haha, should have seen your post before writing mine. I said the same thing. Lush saved my face.
What Lush products are good for dry skin? X
Skin Drink Facial moisturizer is great for dry skin :) pair it up with Angels on Bare Skin cleanser to help exfoliate and Eau Roma water toner to reduce redness
PLEASE do an updated video like this!! I loved this one, but I know it's almost 2 years old... love your skincare videos :)
Hey ladies the origins night a mins come in a oil free formula as well for those of us with oily skin.
OMG cool!
Ahh thank you so much for posting this!! I have extremely sensitive skin and it is so nice to finally see product reviews for my skin type!!!
thanks for all the info I just went out to get the Origins spot remover for my nasty pimples.
do you like it? I've been wanting to try it too
yes I tried it but make sure to get it exactly on your pimple cause it does dry out the whole area and FYI does sting a little.
Thanks! Appreciate it :)
YW

U look so pretty without makeup!
Love this!

Same. My skin is SO dry and SO sensitive. It SUCKS. Seriously not fun... or cute. You have such nice skin though, I'm jealous! 😢
You are one of the few that can put make up on and still look natural with it and beatiful!! (: I love you kathleen!!
Girl.... I'll buy all of that stuff if it gives me glowing skin like yours!!
Our skin is soul sisters. Same exact type. I have half of these products plus a few of my own holy grail products as I have very dry/sensitive skin (basically eczema) I actually use argan oil every day and night. You have such a great personality, not only are you informative but you're entertaining! I love your videos! Favvveeee!

I watched it like 5 times! Haha😂
Thanks for sharing Kathleen! That Origins spot treatment is definitely on my list now! And your skin looks so fabulous 😍

Boots is a uk store and you have their products in your stores?! why does the US get everything and we barely get any American brands 😞😞😞so unfair
Right on, young lady. Thayers is the BEST. I've used it for many years. Try the Rose Water. So Good. You use a varied and an intelligent array of products. Me too!! Super vid. xxoo
I agree with you! I rather splurge on skincare products than makeup products=)
Better for you in the long run!
Awesome video and love the background quote, follow that dream. Solvaderm has skin care products that can be part of a skin care routine as well.
"Das expensive" LMAO hilarious
Elly G i LOVE when she says that !
Also I love Lush's Mask of Magnaminity for a great mask and scrub. xo
what happened to cetaphil?
I do often use exfoliation products too like "everyday". I use St. Ives, Greentea Scrub!
the sahara desert girl.. the sahara ... ahahahah
What does a toner do exactly?:0 haha
Removes any excess dirt' makeup and restores your ph balance
KathleenLights I'm sad that toner is mostly witch hazel cuz that drys out my skin
Elo Bus try using the toner from the Simple brand. It's really good
I'm using one from the Boots sensitive line right now but I'll go check it out! Thanks!
No you can't!
Philosophy!? She has no idea what she's taking about. Sulfates, parabens, etc...
You're the first person I've come across that has similar skin type as I do ! Can't wait to try out the products !
YOU ARE THE ONLY TH-camR/PERSON THAT I HAVE EVER FOUND THAT HAS EXACTLY THE SAME SKIN TEXTURE/TYPE AS ME!!!! Thank you so much omg, i have the bumpiest driest cheeks!! Going to be watching you ALOT!
Kathleen I recommend using steam to unclog your pores I have the same bone dry skin YEAR ROUND and steaming my face works wonders
I've watched this video over 5 times now, and I bought three products you mentioned here
ITS SUPER HELPFUL thank you soo much Kathleen
Your skin is soooo flawless and beautiful!! Love your videos Kathleen!! ❤️❤️

Love your videos! Thanks for all your advice and I love your accent and the little crazy voices you do :) I think you are so fun to watch x
Xx
I swear by the Thayers toner! I have super sensitive skin as well and I also enjoy the rose one!
Since I have been using it on a daily basis, I have noticed that even after taking the makeup off, it has left me with skin that has more of a glow to it and my skin has looked so much healthier since I've started using it!
please please please pleaaaaaaase do a updated version of this. Thank you so much. Love you Kathleen.
Love the Origins range of products.
I agree. The night a mins cream is the best moisturizer I have ever tried. Miracle worker on my face.
I get so happy when I see a brand new video! I can watch you for hourrsss :)
You're the only person I can watch for 20 min straight..fighting my nap since I just got home from school😞💖
