Based on your recommendation I bought the Aztec Secret Indian Healing Clay Mask. I AM IN LOVE!!! My skin was SO soft and clean. I've always had little tiny blackheads on my chin, so tiny you can't see unless you look super close but they are there and noting I've tried for 20+ year cleared it up. Until this mask. There is NOTHING on my face. I made everyone in my house feel my skin (my kids think I'm crazy) and they were all impressed!! lol This is THE best TH-cam discovery, ever. Thank you SO much, Kathleen. You should definitely try Lush's Cup of Coffee mask. It has coffee grounds in it so it exfoliates when you wash it off and my skin feels so soft afterwards and there is agave in it so it moisturizes and leaves my skin so plump. Its one of their newest masks.

The self preserving Mask of Magnaminty doesn't actually last longer than the regular one - they have the exact same shelf life of four months. It just means that it has a higher content of honey to preserve itself as opposed to synthetic preservatives. (So its more moisturizing too!)
The Body Shop aloe vera soothing mask!! I have dry skin and rosacea so when I apply topical cremes to help with the redness I get super dey and this mask does such a good job hydrating my skin in combination with my other skincare 💚
Hi Kathleen, try the Antipodes Manuka Honey mask. Super moisturizing and it also helps with break outs :) I actually apply it straight after the Aztec Secret's Clay mask to add back in some moisture xx

Katie S I haven't tried it with ACV but I didn't think it was all that. Smells weird but that's not that big of a deal to me. I prefer the 2 use packs of mud and clay masks by the Freeman brand you can get at Walmart for $1.37 each. They have so many different kinds and work good for as affordable as they are. I actually got one with ACV that I haven't tried yet.
When I mix it with water, the Aztec mask really isn't that spectacular, but when I mix it up with ACV it never fails to make my skin look and feel WAY cleaner. But I agree with Michelle as well Freeman has some terrific masks. My area doesn't stock the one I like best anymore but I can still get it on Ulta, the Freeman Mint & Lemon clay mask. Its my favorite from them (so far) and the small packets are at least two uses each so you can get a good feel for whether the formula will work for you :)
Freeman masks, okay I will keep an eye out for them. Update, I did use it with ACV, it was only bad as I was pouring it in, mixing it, and putting it on my face, then the smell went away. But I think I left it on too long because my face was HELLA RED afterwards. It went away the next morning but it looked like I got sunburned. I have very dry and sensitive skin so it was also that.
Antipodies manuka honey mask is my holy grail! Its the only thing that moisturised my skin when i was using benzoyl peroxide treatment, no oils no thick creams no nothing, but this. I feel like it nourishes the surface of my skin as well as deeper layers. Because its manuka its also disinfecting and fab for treating skin if u have a breakout (actually recommends to use on spots). My skin feel so fresh hydrated plump calm redness reduced ahh just everything you want. Its the bomb digidy! I have combo skin and i love, im sure your dry skin will thank you for it Kathleen! Btw you are my faves ❤️
if you're really into hydrating face masks, you should defintiely research more into korean face masks. Because gurl.. they are ALL ABOUT the hydrating and moisturising life.

I do love the Boots No7 Beautiful Skin Hydration Mask (comes in a bottle with a pump and looks like a swirl of strawberries & cream) and highly recommend using it as an overnight mask!
LOVE that you film with no makeup on, such a natural beauty :) Glamglow definitely make the best masks I've tried - I also love the Oskai Renaissance mask - so good for exfoliating with enzymes and makes your skin glow! I need to order some of that clay!
the st. ives blackhead clearing green tea scrub is so good! it isn't really a mask but it exfoliates really nicely and it has actually controlled my acne quite a bit. it's fairly inexpensive and you can purchase it at the drugstore. i would highly recommend trying it, especially with your dry skin. my skin is so dry but the scrub really exfoliates and livens up my face. i couldn't be happier with it.
The best hydrating face mask EVER is Don't Look at Me by Lush. It expires quickly like you said, but it is honestly so hydrating and amazing that it's worth it. Plus when you wash it off it turns into the best exfoliant that I have ever used. It has worked wonders on my dry skin.
i'm a lush employee and i'm sooo happy to see you use a lush product!! idk if you know but we have a new mask called cup o coffee which is veeeery similar to mask of magnaminty, but i know a lot of people find it a little easier on sensitive and dry skin, but its also super detoxifying and exfoliating, and there's caffeine in it so it invigorates skin too! it smells like coffee as well. also if you ever get near an actual lush store, because we don't sell them online, you should try oatifix. its a super hydrating mask (i'm dry and sensitive too!) and its my fav. there's oats in there too so its super calming, i love it!
Kat!!!!! You absolutely NEED to try the WHEN sheet masks for hydration!!!! They are totally amazing, like they leave a visible difference kind of amazing! I love the travelmate, the last resort and especially the brightening one. I'm telling you, the moisture is intense and you will be hooked. Sephora carries them now, but I got my first one in my birchbox. I'm definitely going to try the powder one you mentioned in the video, sounds like it really works and I love detox skincare stuff!

so real, so beautiful as always! also it might actually be more cost effective to buy the bigger version of the glam glow just because a lot of times the bigger you go with product size the price per ounce goes down. if you want to check just divide the price of the small one by the ounces in it and then divide the price of the big one by the number of ounces in the big one, that will give you the price per ounce of each one and you can see which one is actually cheaper in the long run!!

One of my favourite hydrating masks is the Laneige "Water Sleeping Mask". It smells amazing, almost like you are at the spa, and I wake up without the normal redness or dry and flaky skin that I usually am accustomed to with my super dry skin!

I use the Aztec Mask all the time a quick two quick tips: 1. Use the Apple Cider Vinegar. It smells weird but the mask is crazy itchy without it and it is very lumpy without it. Like: Can't wait out the 10 minutes your supposed to keep it on itchy. 2. Like most mud masks, the mask is pretty annoying to take off. I've been using it for over a year (because it's fantastic) and this is a preshower mask for sure. Take it off in the shower, it's way easier than trying to use a washcloth.
CosmicRiverstone I wouldn't recommend taking it off in the shower all the time. The clay could clog your drain! but if you don't care then just ignore me lol just thought I might put that out there :)
I have super thick hair and invested in a drain protector a while ago, but I've heard of people covering the shower drain with a wash cloth so it washes down slower.
I bought the Amazonian clay mask because of you and it has completely changed my skin :) I personally mix in one capsule of activated charcoal powder and apple cider vinegar, and my skin feels brand new every single time I use it!
Mmmmmasks! Love em! If I don't use one daily, I consider myself a slacker. I love the Fresh Rose hydrating mask. (I love all their masks, especially the Black Tea ones, but you said HYDRATING). For detox, I adore the Aesop Parsley seed mask, and the Caudalie detox mask. Pai do a really lovely one as well...harder to come by as I had to order it directly from their website. I usually follow my detox masks with a serum and /or oil. My fave is MV Organics Rose Booster...expensive but so worth it. If you love the smell of roses you will adore this. The Herbivore Lapis oil, available online from Sephora, is quite good too. Really light and soothing. I'd recommend that or the Rose one after using the Aztec secret mask, especially if your skin is red! Xxx love all your vids

Lush's Oatifix mask is incredible. It leaves your skin so soft and plump. I feel when my skin suffers most from lack of hydration, I always go to my Oatifix mask!
I just recently tried the Tsubaki Oil Deep Hydrating mask from Boscia, absolutely fantastic! I live in Alaska and the negative temperatures wreaked havoc on my skin. one mask paired with my daily skincare routine cleared up all dry patches and even some of the red blotchiness around my nose, corners of my mouth, and forehead. I believe they are $8 each on Sephora. Definitely worth the money!
I really like all the overnight masks by Korres. They are super hydrating and don't break me out. And I have that same really fair Latina skin that is dry yet prone to clogging and hyper pigmentation that you do so . . .
I am totally hooked on peter thomas roth masks. I buy the three packs of the minis at sephora. My favorite is the pumpkin, but the cucumber and the rose masks are very hydrating. I find using one of those after the pumpkin leaves my skin RIDICULOUSLY soft and hydrated. I can't recommend them highly enough.
I looooove that Apricot Origins mask!!! I've been using it for years and it will always be my fave. It's really the only thing that I put on my face at night and notice a visible difference in the morning- definitely plump, even almost puffy sometimes! Can't believe you don't like the white Glam Glow though!

+Fatema Javeed your face will be very red but this is only because all the bliss is rushing to your face from the pulsations... Think about it as your whole face blushing or when you work out very hard. It goes away in a half hour or so, this mask is amazing I have been using it for years. Also recommend using it with the apple cider vinegar instead of water
Kathleen, one of my favs is the Korres Greek yogurt mask. It's an overnight one like the glam glow hydrating one and like the origins drink up one. This Korres one is $45 for the same size as the glam glow $70 one and it is as amazing if not better! You have to try!!!

Hi kathleen! I know that you're dry but when you have dry skin, you shouldn't put on clay mask bcs it'll make your skin drier. Try to take a different/softer exfoliator! As for hydrating mask, Mary Kay's gelmask is the bomb, you can sleep in and wash the next day. It feels like you pump in water to ur face! Shd definitely try it out! ❤️

You have got to try the Farmacy face masks! I work at Sephora as a skincare consultant and they have been some of my favorites I have come across. I call them a farm-to-face skincare line because thats pretty much what they are, they are so natural and clean, absolutely amazing. They are sheet masks but they come in 3 packs so you can use them a few times. I have dry and very reactive skin but these have given me no trouble. You would love the deep hydration or the brightening masks

the st. ives blackhead clearing green tea scrub is so good! it isn't really a mask but it exfoliates really nicely and it has actually controlled my acne quite a bit. it's fairly inexpensive and you can purchase it at the drugstore. i would highly recommend trying it, especially with your dry skin. my skin is so dry but the scrub really exfoliates and livens up my face. i couldn't be happier with it.

The best hydrating face mask EVER is Don't Look at Me by Lush. It expires quickly like you said, but it is honestly so hydrating and amazing that it's worth it. Plus when you wash it off it turns into the best exfoliant that I have ever used. It has worked wonders on my dry skin.
You should try the Boscia Tsubaki hydrating mask. The price is great, too!

i'm a lush employee and i'm sooo happy to see you use a lush product!! idk if you know but we have a new mask called cup o coffee which is veeeery similar to mask of magnaminty, but i know a lot of people find it a little easier on sensitive and dry skin, but its also super detoxifying and exfoliating, and there's caffeine in it so it invigorates skin too! it smells like coffee as well. also if you ever get near an actual lush store, because we don't sell them online, you should try oatifix. its a super hydrating mask (i'm dry and sensitive too!) and its my fav. there's oats in there too so its super calming, i love it!

Kat!!!!! You absolutely NEED to try the WHEN sheet masks for hydration!!!! They are totally amazing, like they leave a visible difference kind of amazing! I love the travelmate, the last resort and especially the brightening one. I'm telling you, the moisture is intense and you will be hooked. Sephora carries them now, but I got my first one in my birchbox. I'm definitely going to try the powder one you mentioned in the video, sounds like it really works and I love detox skincare stuff!

+Reema MA can you answer this, it has been on my mind for many months: why do girls say that make up is not a mask, but there are literally forms of make up that are called 'masks' or they have so many layers, you can't actually see any actual skin.

so real, so beautiful as always! also it might actually be more cost effective to buy the bigger version of the glam glow just because a lot of times the bigger you go with product size the price per ounce goes down. if you want to check just divide the price of the small one by the ounces in it and then divide the price of the big one by the number of ounces in the big one, that will give you the price per ounce of each one and you can see which one is actually cheaper in the long run!!

One of my favourite hydrating masks is the Laneige "Water Sleeping Mask". It smells amazing, almost like you are at the spa, and I wake up without the normal redness or dry and flaky skin that I usually am accustomed to with my super dry skin!
Aztec is my HOLY GRAIL!! I mix with ACV and it literally dries up every pimple
I have tried to do that but I can not stand the scent, is it really really worth it?? Better then just using water, cause the last couple times I have used it, it hasn't worked that well.
Katie S a tip for you, add a few drops of tea tree oil. It will drown out the vinegar smell and make it smell like tea tree
Is there a difference with using ACV and water? Does it help clean your pores better? I've noticed with using water, it doesn't work as well.

The Aztec mask is very drying, but it really works! I'm glad to see that you use it too! My skin is combination and acne prone and it works great.
I use the Aztec Mask all the time a quick two quick tips:
1. Use the Apple Cider Vinegar. It smells weird but the mask is crazy itchy without it and it is very lumpy without it. Like: Can't wait out the 10 minutes your supposed to keep it on itchy.
2. Like most mud masks, the mask is pretty annoying to take off. I've been using it for over a year (because it's fantastic) and this is a preshower mask for sure. Take it off in the shower, it's way easier than trying to use a washcloth.
CosmicRiverstone I wouldn't recommend taking it off in the shower all the time. The clay could clog your drain! but if you don't care then just ignore me lol just thought I might put that out there :)
I have super thick hair and invested in a drain protector a while ago, but I've heard of people covering the shower drain with a wash cloth so it washes down slower.
It really helps. It was almost unusable to me before that.
Do you use diluted or straight acv? I burned my skin with bragg's acv before when i tried to use it as a toner..any tips would help alot!😊😊😊

I bought the Amazonian clay mask because of you and it has completely changed my skin :) I personally mix in one capsule of activated charcoal powder and apple cider vinegar, and my skin feels brand new every single time I use it!

Mmmmmasks! Love em! If I don't use one daily, I consider myself a slacker. I love the Fresh Rose hydrating mask. (I love all their masks, especially the Black Tea ones, but you said HYDRATING). For detox, I adore the Aesop Parsley seed mask, and the Caudalie detox mask. Pai do a really lovely one as well...harder to come by as I had to order it directly from their website. I usually follow my detox masks with a serum and /or oil. My fave is MV Organics Rose Booster...expensive but so worth it. If you love the smell of roses you will adore this. The Herbivore Lapis oil, available online from Sephora, is quite good too. Really light and soothing. I'd recommend that or the Rose one after using the Aztec secret mask, especially if your skin is red! Xxx love all your vids

I just recently tried the Tsubaki Oil Deep Hydrating mask from Boscia, absolutely fantastic!
I live in Alaska and the negative temperatures wreaked havoc on my skin. one mask paired with my daily skincare routine cleared up all dry patches and even some of the red blotchiness around my nose, corners of my mouth, and forehead.
I believe they are $8 each on Sephora. Definitely worth the money!

I am totally hooked on peter thomas roth masks. I buy the three packs of the minis at sephora. My favorite is the pumpkin, but the cucumber and the rose masks are very hydrating. I find using one of those after the pumpkin leaves my skin RIDICULOUSLY soft and hydrated. I can't recommend them highly enough.

It's really the only thing that I put on my face at night and notice a visible difference in the morning- definitely plump, even almost puffy sometimes! I called my friend and asked her if her face had a heart beat too?! haha I have really sensitive skin too. I would recommend using apple cider vinegar to mix it up rather than water. It was less tight and pulse-y on my skin when I used that rather than water

Think about it as your whole face blushing or when you work out very hard. It goes away in a half hour or so, this mask is amazing I have been using it for years. Also recommend using it with the apple cider vinegar instead of water
Kathleen, one of my favs is the Korres Greek yogurt mask. It's an overnight one like the glam glow hydrating one and like the origins drink up one. This Korres one is $45 for the same size as the glam glow $70 one and it is as amazing if not better! You have to try!!!

Hi kathleen! I know that you're dry but when you have dry skin, you shouldn't put on clay mask bcs it'll make your skin drier. Try to take a different/softer exfoliator! As for hydrating mask, Mary Kay's gelmask is the bomb, you can sleep in and wash the next day. It feels like you pump in water to ur face! Shd definitely try it out! ❤️

You have got to try the Farmacy face masks! I work at Sephora as a skincare consultant and they have been some of my favorites I have come across. I call them a farm-to-face skincare line because thats pretty much what they are, they are so natural and clean, absolutely amazing. They are sheet masks but they come in 3 packs so you can use them a few times. I have dry and very reactive skin but these have given me no trouble. You would love the deep hydration or the brightening masks
