Hey Kathleen I have a makeup problem, hope you (or anyone else here) can help me:
Sometimes I want to wear a white or skin tone eyeliner in my waterline, to give that bright and open eyes look, but at the same time I want my top lashline to look full and really black so I tightline with black eyeliner, but when I do both, it becomes a mess, they mix together and it turns grey, it's so frustrating!!! what do I do?
thing one: I agree, totally princess- that hair tho!
thing two: forget the tight line, do black liner on top of your lashes and then pop your favorite falsies on top, ardell has some great ones that blend in with your lashes just enough to make it look like you aren't wearing falsies yet have that full, extra dark lash line. then do your white/light nude waterline and boom! Doe eyed beauty =)
BONUS: it gives the illusion that your eyes are even bigger because you have essentially transported your lash line up just a smidge =)
BeccaSaysWords hmm, I'll try that! But the thing is, when I don't tightline some pink skin tone from the inside of my eyelids (eeek!!) picks through you know what I mean? hahaha so frustrating!!!!!! but anyway girl, you so sweet to reply, thanks a lot :) :) :)
Girl, try the nars eyeliner for tightlining or the Marc Jacobs. I know those are expensive but they do not move! :)
If you haven't tried this yet you could also get a waterproof black eyeliner. It works on my bottom waterline so I'm sure it will work on the top. Hope I helped (:
Maybe trying to set the liner? Sometimes when I apply black in my waterline I go over it with a pencil brush and I lightly dust it with a black shadow..never really moves tbh! But a waterproof liner will help you too I guess..!

For anyone considering buying the Jordana best lash extreme mascara mentioned in this video:
I just bought it myself today and I compared it to my Le Volume de Chanel mascara. I applied the Chanel mascara to my left eye and the Jordana mascara to my right eye and found that one coat of the Chanel ($32) looks nearly identical to two coats of the Jordana ($3). Amazing! You can get ' Physician's Formula' at Ross in the makeup isle. It is WAYYYY cheaper, like, half the price you get at the drugstore. That's where I get my stuff.

Here in Canada we don't even have half of these drugstore brands, like Milani, Jane, NYX, and... Wait for it.... Elf! We don't even have Elf! It really is a loss, cause NYX and Elf are my favourite brands and I have to order online -.-

I find drugstore products a little tricky for black women. It kind of sucks because there really isn't many shades for us. I'm not that dark but my color is a big hit or miss at the drugstore :( wah.
I hate that too! Shade selection usually sucks for super pale skin and dark skin as well! They need to fix that problem!

Loreal has a great shade selection in foundations.
ELF, Wet n Wild, and Milani have incredibly pigmented blushes/bronzers.
Wet n Wild have very pigmented shadows that should show up/not look ashy on darker skin.

If your tattoos ever start to dry up don't add anything to them. Just stir them. If they sit to long they separate. I wasted so many adding a liquid product to remoisturize them. They are even better then they were to start. I stirred one of the limited edition that had a dryer formula and it is so creamy now.
What do you use to stir it with?

Anyone wanna be kind enough and let me know if you can tell the diffrence between the drug store makeup and the high end i know some people say the packing but i never bough high end and dont really use makeup anyone can give me a advice ty
+Blackdiamond I think it depends... I love drugstore mascara! and I've found good drugstore blush and lipsticks. I think high end base products (foundation, concealer etc..) are better. Eyeshadows, some are good at the drugstore, matt shades I think are better high end. It really depends :)
They are both great. One thing I do think is that high end beats the drugstore is in eye shadows. There are a few hidden gems at the drugstore but High end all the way. As far as drugstore I suggest concealers, foundations, powders & mascaras. If you're looking for a bronzer try face powders in a darker shade, loreal true match is amazing
High end makeup is said to be better formulated and have more pigment and longer lasting power and is usually created by well known people. Drug store brands compete with high end make up by increasing the quality of their products while still keeping a reasonable price. If you are just starting out, drug store makeup is definitely where you should start. I would recommend Walmart or target over Walgreens or CVS because typically they will be cheaper and more convenient depending on where you live and what store is closer.
+Blackdiamond the main difference is the money! you spend alot more on high end products. mostly you're paying for the brand. if you don't use makeup very often i'd say buy drugstore for sure!
high end is all hype to get more money out of people. except for a very few gems, I wouldn't ever recommend high end to people because there is pretty much always an equivalent if not better product sitting on drugstore shelves for a third or fourth of the price.
