I haven't had this car in a while, but I don't recall it having an alert to change the oil. What it did have, was the option on the dash gauges to select how many miles in between oil changes you want the alert to show up. I always set mine to 5,000.
I have a 17 Altima 2.5 I use 5-20 oil in it but I use the slightly larger filter 7317 fram have 72000 on it now bought from a rental car company in 42000 miles this poor thing received only 3 conventional oil changes

I use 10w30 in mines
