Me encantan tus videos.
❤️ sending love
Excellent vlog! I don’t necessarily rely on social media, but I love having amuse, and I also enjoy going to galleries. And I’m just in a town right now or we don’t have those things, well we do, but there’s only one of those things. 😂 I think what keeps me from creativity is my work. I am in a research environment, and not a creative environment. So when I start talking, I don’t sound like everybody else I’m talking about art, poetry, architecture, and everybody else is talking about their research. So when I finish with my doctorate, I’ve decided I’m not going into research. I’m going into filmmaking because I need my muse and I need my creativity! I would love to know the story behind the goats! They are bad ass! And I really appreciate your talks to us! Thank you and I hope you have a fantastic week! And last week I misspelled Wynwood! Check it out! It’s my old art community in Miami that has now turned into a tourist trap 😂
thank you so much for your kind words😊. it sounds like you have such a rich and creative soul, even in a research-heavy environment. starting this channel has really helped me feel like i have an outlet to express myself creatively because i feel the same way about like no one really understanding what i'm saying, especially in a work environment. i recommend it in the meantime! that's amazing that you are thinking of going into filmmaking instead of research. most people stay on the path they've been on because they fear the "sunken cost" of changing their mind, so i admire your courage - and i'll definitely be on the look out for your projects if you ever make them public! i love the goats! thank you🥰 they have definitely been inspiring me lately, i'll make sure i talk about why in the next one. i love how connected you still feel to the art world, even from a town with fewer outlets for it. and wynwood! i didn't notice. i've never been to florida, but hopefully soon! i have some family out there i've been meaning to visit. wishing you a fantastic week as well, and I hope you keep embracing and nurturing your creativity. sending love
Hey there! This was a nice, well-conducted discussion - I particularly enjoyed the "dramatic" light and shadows at 6:37 & ssq. Perhaps an "internalized" response to the dramas that are played in the social media, you're referring to in the first part of the video. Has making youtube videos started to influence your art?
thank you so much daniel for your thoughtful comment! 😊 i’m glad you enjoyed the discussion and caught the play of light and shadows. it does add drama, that's what i love about it. that angle is very somber, haha. and yes i can see the connection you made to the social media comment, that's awesome! making youtube videos has absolutely started to influence my art. the words i am speaking has helped it come into existence in everything around me, including my art. writing the concepts of my videos has made me realize that it is all up to me and i can do whatever i find interesting, rather than trying to gain the interest of others. it's freeing, for sure. i recommend it! :) it’s given me a new lens to explore storytelling and composition, blending visuals with dialogue in a way that’s unique to this medium. it’s a learning process, but one I’m really enjoying. thanks again for watching and engaging so deeply! i appreciate you very much.
@@jenjencartridge Thank you for your generous response. Keep on building that community around your art and your TH-cam. It is going to be quite nice, I'm sure of it. Have you thought of making some "shorts" with you B-Roll, what happened to that fly at the end of your video (did you eat it or release it outside :-P ) - and I think that is indeed a good idea to explore the best "artistic" ways on how your content creation process, your artistic reasoning kind of or need to get all intertwined at some point - or not, of course...
