dude when i saw the thumbnail i thought it was a old vs new video food edition and i was also like "wait how did the letters spell cake? what are the chances???" until i read the title and i was like "OMG that looked SO real" like people who hadnt watched the whole thing currently (like me) IMAGINE the new cake 🤩
Edit: when the cake is more realistic than the real thing (ESPECIALLY the spoon)

I haven’t even finished the video yet I went straight to the comments after a solid minute of just staring at it, it looks freaking amazing!! I already consider Natalie to be a top-tier cake artist but her cakes still make my jaw drop every time, no fail 😭💓

Reason I love this channel is the thing she said in the beginning. Everyone can make it! I follow many cake artists and many of them do these super fancy cases with like 1000 steps and the whole cake is super fancy and professional level hard. With sidesurf, it's just a basic cake. Cake is good as it is, no need for 60 different types of sugars and chocolates and ingredients no one's ever even heard of. Just a cake. But making it look like the real thing with something as affordable as modelling chocolate and some paints and everyday tools.

Hi! I actually created your Mac n cheese cake the other day and I needed almost 1kg of white chocolate 😳 it turned out amazing! I didn’t have wafer paper so I died and flavoured some crushed, rolled oats for herbs! It did take me ALL day to make the cake, buttercream, ganache, modelling chocolate and to put it together, it was worth it! Definitely subscribed!

I generally don't like savory foods with sweet ones. Your spaghettios looked so realistic that I got that queasy feeling when you sliced it and I saw spaghettios on top of cake, even though I knew the spaghettios were sweet.

I love your cakes! I almost didn’t believe that the remake of the pizza was an actual cake :o I love reptiles and amphibians. I think you may enjoy making an axolotl hyperrealistic cake. They have all these small details like the wrinkles in their skin and their feathery gills. There are a lot of axolotl lovers who would probably enjoy seeing it a lot!
