Ruby pulling Jaune's hands away asking him to continue will still be a bit silly. Her "I'm angry" always has a little effect on me, because it's rare that she gets angry, she's one of the typical anime characters who are balls of joy, but when they're angry, you know it's not good. Well she's not really at this point yet in volume 5, but she's starting. Hazel ripping his clothes off screaming Ozpin will also always be a highlight, I think Qrow has the perfect expression for that moment by the way. The reaction to the reveal of both Cinder's arm (explaining her reaction to Ruby's silver eyes earlier) and Raven as a spring maiden, was perfect. Even if you have already seen it, I feel so much that they are not ready at this moment for the confrontation which between the two maiden. Can't wait for the next week, it's gonna be so good.
When she removed his hand he was still "healing" her. Ruby told him to keep doing what he's doing you see him not touching her anymore he's just hovering his hand to continue.

It's just the fact that, if you translate in real world, Ruby removes Jaune's hands, which presses on the wound to prevent Weiss from losing too much blood, telling him to continue. It's a bit stupid when you imagine it like that. Kind of like when you see someone running in a straight line when something is chasing them, when they just need to run left or right to avoid it.

Jaune's Semblance is technically not healing but it is (Aura Amp), it allows him to amplify his own Aura and that of others, effectively increasing the effects of Aura making it stronger and their semblance.

I don't recall ever seeing a reactor not bring up the point of Ruby moving Jaune's hands from Weiss's wound. I would have thought that would be something RT would have gone back to fix based on all the critique. The have done so with other questionable scenes in the past. Fixed them, then re-posted on the RT site. Leaving the error on TH-cam.

It's just that if that is the case, that exposition did not translate well with the audience. They have fixed animation errors like Cinder's disappearing mask in V2x7 and logical errors like Blake's fight with Illia in V5.
The Spring Maiden reveal was probably the best surprise in the entire volume. I remember trying to pick my jaw up off the floor. Certainly the best scene in this final arc. Now, care to place your bets on the winner of this fight? On the one hand we have an egotistical, entitled brat with delusions of grandeur. Vs. A street and battle hardened tribal leader who's second in command (and more) has been killed by the aforementioned entitled brat. When I first saw this episode I knew what the outcome would/should be ..... if the writers played it straight.
i love that know one saw that coming well besides nekko lmao when i first watched this season i already knew raven was the spring just because i felt like vernal being it was to obvious so when cinder was at there tents and vernal did the power thing it seemed odd to me that and she seemed more like a bandit then anything and then when raven put her mask back on in the vault it kinda made sense to me and i knew something was gonna happen but i just felt like they made it way to easy for the spring maiden to be reviled so the reactions in this was so good lol

A titular character's agency, compromised for the sake of a secondary one that just so happens to be voiced by the writer that decided Jaune should crush on Weiss, not that Cinder would know. Ruby, however, was already down... I guess she was susceptible to being knocked out while using her eyes? The eyes that took Cinder's eye and arm, that just zapped her *again,* is right there. Cinder should've sliced her eyes, and Jaune heal Ruby instead. Curing her blindness would have been on theme! Some people already suspected Vernal wasn't the maiden, when she kept her eyes closed while manipulating the weather. But what I want to know is, how did Cinder's grimm arm completely ignore Vernal's aura?
Ah, raven being raven. Honestly if raven's character was more explored then those would've effected me but her entire thing is honestly unnecessarily difficult in order to piece together, there is a super good character there, but most of her screentime doesn't even say anything about her psychology and any of her problems. Edit: and also Cinder lacks anything interesting at all, I'm cool for characters being incredibly annoying or just plain rude but she has zero depth, she's like a reverse hole in terms of depth.
