Sure, Blake meant well, but Yang isn't exactly in a great headspace right now. Remember Yang is a character who embodies the thought of strength. Even Blake says that in V4. So ever since Yang lost her arm she has been trying to prove (most likely to herself rather than others) that she is still strong. She did all those chores in V4 without complaining, she wanted to prove that she was an adult to Tai. She wanted to not be seen as inept just because she lost an arm. That's the whole crux of the issue between her and Blake at the moment. We even saw glimpses of this in chapter 1. Because Blake still feels guilty about running away she is trying to do everything she can for Yang (such as rushing to grab her bag from the train). But Yang doesn't need somebody to do things for her, it makes her feel weak. You can hear a little frustration in her voice which made Blake recoil a bit. There is obviously still a conversation that they both need to have, but there hasn't been much time for that. Fast-forward to where we are now and we see things play out a similar way. Blake (still with some guilt I imagine) feels like she needs to make it up to Yang and says she will protect her if Adam ever shows up. Yang, not wanting to feel or be seen as weak takes it as an insult. Neither are wrong in those thoughts and feelings, they just need to have a sit-down and talk things out.
The Neo/Cinder fight which has a nice choreography, different from what Monty would have done, but which keeps its spirit all showing that CRWBY has definitely found its feet now. Weiss with her blanket, stupid Ruby, just give her a hug, you missed your chance (but at least your smile would have warmed her heart). The fact that Yang is the first to say that she is tired, because she is probably the one with the most negativity after learning the truth about Oz, Qrow being the second. It becomes more understandable that they are the first affected in a way. Weiss who fully understands what Ruby wants to say about Qrow and the bottles, given her history with her mother... It's the kind of little details that show without saying.
I love Neo vs Cinder from her constantly hitting Cinder from her blind side to Neo trying to slit Cinder's throat with the blade in her parasol when they're on the bar.
Guys yang isn't mad at blake she's still mad bc of oz's lies and she got angry at that moment bc she doesn't want to be protected or seen as weak bc of her arm or anything related to her adam trauma Blake meant no harm tho
6:30 well yes, however cinder wasnt really using her maiden powers. But i feel you jake, neos fighting style is just awesome 😍 7:15 yeah, we remember, but neo was flying of the ship like mary poppins, so she just have to asume, that ruby managed to kill him 🤔 12:18 nice little detail, that adam still has the mask on, like yang remembers him, while when blake had the "adam ptsd" scene in volume 6 episode 1, where she saw him on the train, he didnt had his mask, but a bandana (so maybe that was the real him). When you recall, the huntsmen from the train left the caboose door open, so adam couls have actually been on the train 🧐
I mean, I don't think it's super unrealistic to be very angry at someone you haven't seen in a while and then have that all melt away when you do finally meet again, only to have some of the resentment come back and fester just under the surface going forward.
Ice cream's back on the menu, boys! That said... *Jake Peralta voice* Cool fight; still pointless. (Though it's amazing that Cinder is so sure on her feet while wearing socks in sandals.) "Close the door already!" Maria says from outside the door. Is there no one to catch these mistakes? Not the first, won't be the last. Look closely at the group photo: some people thought they saw young Roman and Neo there, but that theory has apparently been disproven by a supposedly-canon book about the pair... Burrito Weiss is a meme. Nice to see her using her abilities for utilitarian purposes.
Darn, apologies on that one. Because of all the Audio hardware We use, the audio may have been exaggerated in our end.. that means we may have the same problem in the next one. Thanks for letting us know! -Nekko
Hehehe, this was a quite interesting little Mini-Arc within this Volume, though i feel like it could’ve been handled better, regardless it was okay for what it is still.

Hey, Ruby still doesn't like being hugged very much, of course she wouldn't recognize Weiss needing one.
@@jeffreysmith236 yea she's socially awkward i think
@@alexjd1278 of course she is, stupid she is not.

“Torchwick was gobbled up, Bubba Fett-Style”
Oh, have y’all not seen the two frames?
First in-show confirmation that Neo is actually mute and not merely very laconic.

If only Blake had stopped talking once sentence sooner......Yang was just starting to smile....
As the daughter of an alcoholic, Weiss immediately understands what Ruby is concerned about with her uncle and drinking.
At least Jake didn't get spoiled on Neo for too long, although it would've been great to see a 100% unexpecting reaction. Can't wait for next episode!

Did ya mean cinder?
Salem?
Ups yeah i did mean cinder
0:26 I am the STORM that is APPROACHING!
SHE’S BACK!
- Me realizing I kinda made a Sonic reference.
Blake is right, there were serious consequences when Adam returned to the White Fang, but not for him.
Protect the white squirrel
I love Neo but if Cinder went full on Maiden with her powers, Neo would get beat the hell up. She’d probably bail or get herself killed.

Neo is defo top 3 fighter of rwby like basic hand to hand she’s nasty

How often do l make jokes about chemistry? Periodically.
The audio is way too low. Hardly heard anything lol

Coming storm? Remind me of a song from DmC5 but forget what is it
That would be “Bury the Light”
🤣 someone else in the comments mentioned it I think
- Jake
the episode that made me hate rooster teeth first... neos return was spoiled so freaking fast.
