Wow, i rarely ever compliment a tutorial so much as this one. For example, often tutorials have/are 1. Voice is not well seperated or clear, hard to understand, especially if you speed up the video 2. speed is most often way to slow, i watch most tuts with 1.25 or even up to 2 speed 3. some tuts are all over the place when it comes to order, here it goes perfectly from 1 to 10 in a sense of learning the tool, well sorted. 4. a lot of tuts miss something or dont explain in a well comprehensible way, you would have to go back to some parts and re watch and try to reproduce it to understand it, and while doing so often notice, some needed information was left out and now you would have to figure it out by your self. But you even have a video that goes deeper into it, so if needed i could watch it. 5. Most tuts dont have this kind of great editing, here it zooms to, highlights and shows perfectly what you need. For this Tutorial, i would struggle to find anything i could critique on, probably some minor things, but no body is perfect. This Tutorial is at least far above average when it comes to tutorials. So, all ive to say is, extreamly well done, and big thanks for that great tutorial, its way to well done to be a simple youtube tutorial. Much appreciation and gratitude to you Sir. totally subscribed to this channel.
Yo, thank you so much for that very detailed feedback! It means a lot to me that you took the time to write it all down! It's quite rare that someone does that. It makes me very glad that my time-consuming scripting and editing doesn't go completely unnoticed~
Do you mean mask layers? Then yes, you can use them too. Also in combination with those fill tools to fill in or erase areas. And then you can still clip your color layers above like normal.
If an operation you do does not work equally on my program, the tutorial starts losing value as a viewer/student. Object selector and vector paths does not work; it just slides my layers around.
Just figured it out. I need to convert my raster layer to vector layer. Then, on tool property from the Operation tool, I need to checkmark Select Area by dragging. These settings don't come selected by default, so it would help your growing fame to mention these things during the video.
@@ignisGladius Thank you for your feedback! Yes, I should have shortly described the settings of my operation tool that enabled me to adjust the vector lines. I try to be thorough with my tutorials, but sometimes some things slip my mind. I hope you understand.
@@Mink-tDR Of course! It was just a small feedback to help polish the quality. The rest of the video is great! Thank you for your contibution to the community.
Using Area scaling with a negative value is a great idea for textured lines!
You're a miracle! So much great information, very clear
Thank you so much

what if u use the clipping mask tool?
Do you mean mask layers?

I find the easiest way is to use the wand to select all the area around the lineart, then invert the selection, and fill in the base color.
That is also a good way!
