So I'm 46 and contributed 2 beautiful Thai children to this country and cared for them until adulthood (ongoing). Do I still need to do the 90 day cycled perp walk to report my oh so questionable foreign behind ? I wish there would be a more friendly way to make a good dad feel welcome in this country...
I wish you could mention what happens if you're too late to report like i am now, because I forgot. But I can tell you now that I got a 2000 baht fine for reporting 14 days to late for my 90 days report on my non O visa
Thanks for explaining this Benjamin.
Ben, could you please do another video on TM-30? When does a TM-30 have be filed and does one (on yearly visa retirement, business, etc) need to do a new TM-30 after taking a short trip in country or out of country. Thank-you.
Doesn't Thailand have some Rio Grande river to wade across so all this pesky reporting can be avoided?
Ben, I entered Thailand on a 90 day Non 0 marriage visa, and will apply for a one year Non O marriage multiple entries visa, but I have read somewhere that multiple entry visas must be applied for outside Thailand. Is this correct or was that information I read incorrect? Thanks
I thought you couldn’t apply for a non-O “marriage” visa outside of Thailand. I have just been issued my first one year extension of my original 90 day Non-O visa. With my 1 year visa extension I purchased a single re-entry permit at a cost of 1000 baht a multiple re-entry permit costs 3800 baht. You can purchase re-entry permits at the airport when you leave but these may cost more. I am also aware the 90 day clock will start after I use the re-entry permit when I come back after using it.
@@stevemassingham2270, 14 years ago I got a mult entry visa from Los Angeles Thai Embassy, this year they said one year Non O I had spelled my first name incorrectly and voided my application and my $200 application fee, ( go figure )so to make things simple and cheaper ($80) I applied for the 90 day which I done many times. It’s hard anymore to know what to believe with these visas. During Covid it wasn’t even really a visa ( or ‘ right to stay’, but I got a year of stay all the same fromChanthaburi immigration office. The reentry permit might be the easier way to go if all else fails.
been here 20 years and still not sure about this but I bet you are wrong . I left for the UK on June 6 and returned on the 21 st . I will go into the lions den (immigration) on the second week of August as I have done the past 2 decades and say hello ,I'm here ,can you renew my retirement visa and also give me a 90 day stamp . I am sure that they will not say I am too early for the 90 day ,come back September
