This video motivated me 6 months ago to buy a pair of rings and get started, and I haven't looked back since. This is the longest I have stayed consistently working out, I gained 10+ pounds in these months, most of them muscle, and I'm still having as much fun as on day one. Thanks, muchacho 💚💪🏿
I am an instructor for Brazilian jiu-jitsu and I was looking for good videos to have some of my teenage students to start watching so they can learn how to do the rings. I am definitely going to send them to this video thank you.
Did my first ring workout yesterday. It's extremely humbling. I thought I had decent strength but the rings are totally different. Today, my armpits are sore. I had no idea I had armpit muscles to even get sore.
During quarantine I invested in a pair of gymnastic ring's and I'm very proud I did as it could be one of my best purchases I've ever made. I find it amazing for upper body development due to the versatility and the difficulty of the exercises. Not only have I seen noticeable improvements in my physique but it's also strengthened my joint's and tendons so I feel much less vulnerable to injury. I'm thinking of sticking with calisthenics for the foreseeable future and may get a weighted vest so I can still get the same benefit from weight training. It seems to be the way forward for health and longevity.
Bought a pair of rings last week and started working out. Though I was lifting weights for about 3 years I found rings to be far more superior to weights. Thank you very much and am 73 years. Enjoying the developing strength!
Just want to throw it out there for folks that want to make a full body workout from this, just simply add some squats. Start with a standard squat, and progress to single leg squats. You can also use the rings to assist you on the squats. Great video, I will be checking out your channel.

Really glad I came across your channel, really great instructional detail on each of the movements/techniques. I’ll be watching this over and over just to keep on making sure I’m getting each one right.
Great video. thanks for breaking everything down so clearly. I just bought some rings yesterday and am aiming at being able to to 10 ring muscle ups by the end of 3 months. I will work at getting these fundamentals down first. All the best.
This video made me buy a pair of rings and I just finished my first session of the rings using your "Learn the Basics on Gymnastics" video. Thanks a ton Muchacho for introducing me to this equipment by selling it correctly. I had a great time with it. Keep posting the cool ring workout programme videos in ur awesome locations!✌️😊
@John Doe I just had like 5 sessions on the rings and I'm actually thinking of saying good buy to the gym. Gym has always my priority for years. But what I love about the rings is the intensity. Earlier I thought rings are only for flexibility but man, I felt the blood pumping though my muscles and could feel the specific parts of the body getting activated. Plus, it makes my mobility so much better compared to the gym. Coz workout on the rings also works like stretching.
@John Doe yes bro, they are jacket up and also functional 😊✌️. I can feel that after my routine when I breathe. The only downside (I don't know much, just my current opinion) of the rings is that we don't find enough tutorials on ring training routine. At least for muscle building through rings (there is BodyByRings but not everybody can afford a paid programme). I have been looking up on muscle building programmes for more than 10 years, Tao Physique is the first one I saw stressing the equipment properly.
i bought rings over a year ago, but barely used them. You got me motivated and using them bro! This is a great beginner workout and definitely feeling the burn. Also, the adult swim music was a nice touch ;)

@Tao Physique. Thanks so much for this man, 53 years old and just starting my calisthenics journey. I am working through this and can complete the dips support, push ups support and push ups as per your recommendations but still need to work on the main movements. Would you recommend increasing reps/time or adding weight for these? Your input would be greatly appreciated if you have the time! If not no worries and thanks for the content
Production value from 2 years ago was just as classy as it is now - thank you for the info
GREAT INFO!!! . Thank you! ❤️😁👍 Mucho gracias!
yo mister man, greetings from Norway ^^, I just got my rings in the mail today and started out with your video right here, just wanted to say thank you so much for putting this up, I always wanted to get into rings, but thought you had to be pro to do them.
Cheers !!
Did my first ring workout yesterday , thanks to Tao , loving em already
I have been considering rings since I found your channel. I do alot of my workouts in the woods, these rings would be perfect to hang from a Tree Branch. Pretty excited about that lol. Appreciate you dude, glad I found your channel.
Thanks man, you're really helping man, I'm very grateful. I'm working out with dumbbells for over 4 now. But today I thought to myself I want to do more bodyweight workouts (preparing for my first semester in PE in starting in October). I ordered them today and I am so hyped to start training with them. Now I know how
Thanks man, really appreciate that!
man look i’m really fascinated by the fact that you don’t have at least above 100 k subs / viewers.
you always release great content and always remind me to strive for greatness. Keep up the good work and i cant wait to see your channel thrive. peace!
I just helping you guys while improving my filming skills. More subs and views are on the horizon but I'm already having a blast hanging out with my Muchachos ✌
I appreciate this as I can use it to gain strength faster and develop this to work into pull ups. I will add this at the end of my regular workout routines. I will try for 3 days a week. Good instruction and ideas. I use the rings on my doorway pull-up bar.
Been looking around your channel a bit, but not sure what the best follow up video is for this one. Doing well with this routine, lookin to do more and improve more though.
Would love a response for this as you've been awfully helpful already. This video so far has helped a ton. Keep it up my man.
This is a really nice, straightforward and detailed explanation of how to begin but also intensify. Saving this one. The rings are awesome and offer a really complete bodyweight workout. Nice job!
I have been looking up on muscle building programmes for more than 10 years, Tao Physique is the first one I saw stressing the equipment properly.
thanks for the beginner set. just started the rings... great to start with this! keep up the nice video's
straight fire Mr. Muchachos
Tnaks for the summary at the end of the video ! Very useful for a non native english speaker !
i bought rings over a year ago, but barely used them. You got me motivated and using them bro! This is a great beginner workout and definitely feeling the burn. Also, the adult swim music was a nice touch ;)
I want to add that doing ring rows by pulling to your collarbone is an excellent upper-chest exercise!
Thanks so much. Clear, concise, well edited. Plus one subscriber.
I bought a pair of rings about a year ago, played with them once, and haven't touched them since. I'm going to have to give this a shot. Thanks for posting!
I LOVE the Samurai Champloo background music! I also love the content Bro! Keep it up!
