- A three day hike in the Lakes. As I hadn't bagged Great Mell Fell yet I decided to do it with a wild camp. What a good place it is for wild camping.
Also, I used hiking poles first time. I think I did quite well :)

Oh yes, the trees were so interesting on that fell.. artistic and stunning. Heavy winds have battered them a lot.
A very peaceful video, I enjoyed it. It's a long time, since I went wildcamping, I have to do this more, you inspired me. Try some Swiss chocolate , like Toblerone for instance. I can't stop eating it, if I start one 😇. Looking forward to your next video 👍

Been passed it umpteen times put never climbed it before and to be honest, never really fancied it but you certainly got a mega sunrise and so pleased you were awake early enough to catch it. I don't know you you have managed to hike so long and with so much weight, without using hiking poles before. No looking back now, cheers Alan
Yes I need to get used to the poles really.
I had to tick off the Great Mell Fell, so I thought.. why not camp up there as well. I prefer Little Mell Fell for wild camping.. it was easier to find a pitch.

Wonderful sunrise Linda, the best time of day to be awake in my opinion! I think you have turned using hiking poles into an art form!🤣 I can see the error of my ways watching a master with the hiking pole! Will you be teaching classes? I for one would enroll!
