My opinion on extra keys right next the ESC, Shift and Ctrl button is trash.. I get the concept but as a person who experienced using a keyboard that has extra keys on next felt so uncomfortable because usually my pinky finger has to feel the Ctrl & Shift button all time to react immediately. The gap between is small too so you cannot even rest your pinky finger in between those keys. (I got skinny fingers)

Corsair basically has a keyboard with ALL the SAME features as this one and they released that in 2020 and I am using one right now. It's called the K100 RGB. It has Opto-Mech switches AND has 6 macro keys on the side not 5 as the dial is above the escape key next to a profile switch button and a windows lock key which this also does not seem to have dedicated keys for and there is a mute button for the multi media keys which this does not appear to have also. AND Corsair's software is awesome for macros EVERY key (except the function FN) can be remapped to whatever key or macro and can also open applications and the macro keys on the side can be used as a Streamdeck too since Corsair owns Elgato. The ONLY MAJOR thing I like about the Razer keyboard is the metallic finish as Corsair is ALWAYS adamant about using brushed aluminium on everything they add an Aluminium touch to and it gets dirty easily
@@mining_steve Who cares its because Corsair has a wider portfolio of products and need to cater for that in their software which can also control RGB from Asus MOBO's/GPU's and RGB from Nano Leaf and Philips Hue products and can also monitor system temps ALSO 2.5 GB is nothing nowadays when you can spend just over $100 worth where I live on a 2TB M.2 NVMe drive or get a 6-8TB for that much There are literally games that take up like 150 GB storage so 2.5 GB is nothing

So I just bought the Hunstman V2 Analog and was wondering if I should return it and get this. I got the huntsman for $80 MSRP. but I am okay with paying a bit more for a more versatile and better keyboard for gaming and productivity. Any comments on this would help!
I might be a little late, but if I were you, I'd have returned it for v4 pro. Of course idk what sort of user you are and if you need it, but since you are ok paying the difference I will say a big big yes; return it. Return it YESTERDAY!😂
@Modest Reshiram haha all good, I ended up returning the v2 analog for yhe v4 pro with yellow switches and it was the best decision I could've made 😂 really loving the v4 pro and just got the viper v2 pro as well. But wondering if I should return and get the deathadder v3 pro 🤔
I would get the huntsman v2 purple switch. You need optical switches to take advantage of the 8k polling rate
@@jstarproductions7335 Thanks for your input! I ended up getting the Blackwidow V4 Pro as I prefer the yellow linear switches and it has 8k polling

Damn Right
What mouse mat is that? The gigantus has a green hue all around it and this doesn't.
Razer strider XXL, I just got one about a week ago, highly recommend.
@@ImRickyIWin I see, thanks for letting me know. I'm gonna pick it up!
I bet they just made the actuation distance a bit shorter, and that's what you're feeling not the 8k polling rate. I'd like to see a double blind test.
👏 👏 👏 👏
Why does razer only Carry the v3 “edit” it’s there it’s just literally not under their keyboards. You have to search for it, weird that they hide it.
Not impressed. I am still using my Corsair K95 with 18 macro keys on the left side, with three modes so it's actually 54 macros. Same media controls. And I got mine in the spring of 2012, so 11 years and counting.
They should put the side buttons on the top
My opinion on extra keys right next the ESC, Shift and Ctrl button is trash.. I get the concept but as a person who experienced using a keyboard that has extra keys on next felt so uncomfortable because usually my pinky finger has to feel the Ctrl & Shift button all time to react immediately. The gap between is small too so you cannot even rest your pinky finger in between those keys. (I got skinny fingers)
I like my Corsair K100 but I think I would like this one too. K100 will last me for some time though so no pressure..
hello corsair lover i am using this keyboard currently thats in the video, i wanted to know how the K100 is like, is it good for comfort gaming? is it good for competitive gaming??
@@Unreal_Reviews I really like K100, no I love it. I love how sensitive the buttons are and I love aluminium / metal chassis. The pad is wrest pad is also great. The RGB is amazing. I can customize every single key and I make special profiles for different games I play. It just looks cool. I am super happy with my K100. I like everything about it. How do you find your Razer Blackwidow Vr PRo?

This or huntsman v2?
Great video! Personally, I can’t use a full size board since I use my left hand for the numpad. If this keyboard has detachable numpad to put it which ever side, I would be more interested in it. I know there are a few boards like that out there but I find a dedicated numpad to be working well.
Keychron Q12 has the regular Numpad on the left side. Very nice for data entry.
@@k_while9497 I was looking at getting one to run for a bit, I currently main the Mountain Everest max and I've been loving it.
preferring a left number pad is both a blessing and a curse cause they're few and far between not to mention pricey
The Asus Claymore II fits the bill for what you're after. Keychron Q12 is even better.
❤NUMPAD
This or Asus Rog Flare 2 Anime?
Time to start saving up
This helped me alot, imma buy me this keyboard cuz im Hard as a rock rn.
5:02 That's what he said xD
Does it have a detachable usb cable?
No, it might use a parallel or Dim 6 cable though

Why no Wireless. That's why I chose the ASUS Azoth, which has no need for any software
i bought this and its not hot garbage, it's just... hot.
Ok you have a point! Now have an H60 Wooting keyboard.
But miss the F1 etc. buttons. and more on that keyboard Bro.
When playing strategy games.
Simulators!
So I'm thinking about buying another keyboard for it.
Any suggestions then?

Logitech G15. Just somehow came to the back of my mind ;-)
Good keyboard but why no wireless
I still have my logitech g15 from 2003. Its basically like this and was a fraction of the price.
😊
ngl the astetics of he keyboard are outstanding but i dont think the majority uses makros anymore and the boards by wooting are the true advatage you can have
totally agree, I want this keyboard with no macro keys
is this hot swappable?
The iCUE software is like 2.5 GBs 💀
I have the K100 too
Corsair's software is crap imo
@@mining_steve Who cares its because Corsair has a wider portfolio of products and need to cater for that in their software which can also control RGB from Asus MOBO's/GPU's and RGB from Nano Leaf and Philips Hue products and can also monitor system temps
ALSO 2.5 GB is nothing nowadays when you can spend just over $100 worth where I live on a 2TB M.2 NVMe drive or get a 6-8TB for that much
There are literally games that take up like 150 GB storage so 2.5 GB is nothing
@@TheJustinist After having used Razer Synapse back in the day and Logitech's software when I started using iCUE I got the hang of it pretty easily and I personally have no software problems with iCUE and think its better than Razer Synapse was when I last used it. It's quite simple if you watch a tutorial or 2 but I did it without tutorials by just messing with the software for like 10 mins the first time
I really liked the huntsman elite... Sadly it got soaked with water and now im having a hard time finding one to buy. I am also trying to save the soaked one by cleaning it with purified water and leaving it to dry for two weeks😬
is this wireless ?
This looks way better than their v3 pro wireless.
Agreed. I hope there's another model up with pbt keycaps and wireless.
Finally, they bring Macro keys back.
