When sizing tires , use a tire height calculator. it lets you use current tire dimensions to compare to other optional sizes and it really helps dial in fitment , especially when used along with a wheel offset calculator. 275/35/18 is 25.6" , 275/45/17 is 26.7" . about 28mm difference in total height . should give 14mm more clearance . and the first # of a tire is the width in mm , 2nd # is the percentage of sidewall height compared to width.

Bigger wheels look heaps better. I'm not a fan of the "I'm from Western Sydney" fat drag radials. 19s on a GTR look best to me but each to their own! In saying that I have 18""Advans on mine...
