FROM PAPA DUT: Buddy, the words "thank you" just doesn't do this justice. As I said, I have wanted this car since I was 14 years old. As much as I love the car itself, what makes this even more special is the fact that you did this for me. I never expected for you to ever do something like this for me. This car will be my prized possession for as long as I live. It took me a couple of days to really process what happened. It was almost like a dream and I was going to wake up and the car would not be there. You and I have always shared a very special relationship. I will forever cherish all of the time we spent together when you were growing up. Although I miss you terribly, I could not be a more proud dad. Your hard work and perseverance has truly paid off. You have worked so hard to build your name and reputation and that too makes me so proud. All I can say is THANK YOU for making one of my childhood dreams come true. I had resolved myself to the fact that I would never own a 1970 Challenger. Now, here we are. I love you with all my heart and I can't wait to see this beast at SEMA and especially to get this car home to Mississippi. I will absolutely use the car and enjoy every minute of driving! I miss you but I will see you soon at SEMA in November!
You seem like a truly amazing dad and well deserving of this surprise. You have raised an awesome son in Dustin. Hope you make some awesome memories with that car.
This is one thing I wish I had with my dad to bond with. He has never really shared an interest in anything of mind but I've learned to be okay with it. By the way, sorry for your loss. It is always a bummer when someone close passes away, especially when you are close to them.
RIP to your dad. Lost mine to cancer before I was in a position to do this with him. Bought a 71 chevelle (his dream car) and drive it to his grave site once a month. I let him hear the rumble and scare the birds
Same here, lost my father a little over a year ago to Lupus and Lung disease so sadly didn't get the chance to buy his old Prelude Si for him before I lost him but I still want to get one in memory of him someday
@@awesomecomet3577 do it when you’re able. It’s an emotional tour de force to realize their dream even when there’re not there. It’s like having him back when I’m sitting in it
Dustin, I work with your dad. He's one of my favorite coworkers and definitely deserves this, i hope that one day i can do something similar for my dad. Much love and respect from Pass #29
Man right in the feels this morning. From someone who sadly isn't super close to their dad this really hit hard. I will always support you and what you do because of the person you are not just because of the cool stuff you do and build. Way to go sir and this will be a forever memory for you guys to cherish.
Same. I often ask myself how would it look like if my dad was more like this. Spending time with a loving father must be a great experience, especially while sharing the same passion. This video made me tear up ngl
I totally agree but it's also not just my dad, my mom passed in 2018 and seeing, listening to the stories and sentimental aspects it hits hard! And I love it! Keep up the great work and enjoy what you do! Thanks for sharing as well. "To Dustin, and the person that made this original comment lol"
I lost my dad 13 years ago and to see you do this for your dad and the smile on his face had me all choked up. What a great son you are Dustin! Just a genuinely great human
As a dad - this hits me right in the gut. This is such an amazing gift to your father…I can tell how much it means to him. All the feels over here man. Well done Dut!
Dustin-I watch a lot of automotive content on the tubes. Several of those creators are your friends. I can honestly say this video/series of videos, I haven’t finished this one yet, is by far one of the most interesting videos I’ve seen in a long time. You aren’t just installing upgrades, you are telling an emotional story. Well done sir.
very moving video Dustin, I lost my father two months ago, and I miss him dearly every day. the love of our parents is a real daily gift. They took care of us, it's up to us to take care of them. your parents' emotion is priceless. Thank you for this beautiful moment Dustin.
What an absolute car day. The three amigos from the UK end their 22 year motoring program, and Dustin gives back to his pops with his dream car. Too many tears.
It needs a woodgrain steering wheel and a efi system but it's a beautiful car. Me and my dad had plans to build a car for the hot rod power tour but he died from cancer a little over a year ago. Now me and my sister are going to do the cruise in his honor. This video was extremely emotional for me and reminded me of my relationship with my dad thank you for everything you do.
Damn Dustin this really made me cry.. seeing your dad so happy with. I lost my dad in 05 when i was 18 but been to car shows with him since i was 8. him and i both are muscle cvar guys from the netherlands. This was really awesome to see!
Dustin you are so lucky to have a father who loves you, is kind to you, supported you, and over all is such a good friend. I am happy for you that you get to give him his dream car. Some of us weren't as fortunate as you are, but I always am happy for those who have/had 2 great parents.
I’m not crying. I just have something in my eyes. Love seeing the relationship between you two. I didn’t have a relationship like this with my dad. My mom I did until she passed away but I will make sure to have one just like this with my son. You’re an amazing son Dustin. And you have an amazing dad and family. God bless you guys.
You're dad has great taste, thats my dream car too. And I am soooo pumped to see this on the channel. I keep having to edit my comment lmao, this is literally one of your best videos ever if not the best so far. Hell yeah dude. Pumped for you and your dad.

Found one, slapped a bow on it and walked him out...... never had me or anyone in the family seen my hard as rocks farmer grandfather cry but it was like a waterfall. I think of that moment almost everyday. Some family deserve the world im happy you could give your dad his. (car world that is)
Dude what a privilege and an experience for the whole family. I grew up in a body shop that restored old hot rods. I've been to countless car shows and all my dad's ever talked about was the 50 merc. It's his dream car and my dream to get him on the road in one
I’m from England but I have always loved muscle cars ever since watching Starkey and Hutch on tv as a boy living in the uk. Your family are lovely enjoy!!
This is so awesome man. I spent my childhood building a 71 challenger with my father. Some of my fondest memories was building it and riding with dad in that car. Unfortunately, last year my father was involved in an accident in the Challenger and he passed away. Thank you for sharing this special moment with us.
Watching you give your Pap DUt his dream car was an amazing feeling that could never be replicated!! I'm happy that you could give your dad his dream and share in the memories with him! Congratulations!!

Dustin, this is my all time favorite video on your channel. You’re truly an amazing guy and it’s easy so see why when you talk about your parents. Your parents have every right to be proud of their son and the man you have become. I love what your Dad wrote above and the bond you share reminds me of my own Dad. I bought him his dream car several years ago and although he’s no longer able to drive due to his disability, I still take him for rides and will never sell it. God bless. 🙏
I lost my best friend and my dad has a teenager. There are very few things in life that get better than this. Congratulations Dustin on creating this memory for you and your dad and your family. You’ll look back on this someday as one of your biggest achievements.
