There are so many channels on TH-cam that I think if you made separate channel for ICE and EV that it would sort of soften the experience. You’re the same guy whether you’re driving and reviewing one or the other so my input is to do all your reviews on one channel.
This channel should be dedicated to Ev's only...

Great summary. Totally agree on most of this, although I haven’t driven all the cars.. 😊 One huge issue I have with the late BMW’s is that you can’t adjust the ACC distance without using the touch screen. Right?

Interesting fact that the ISA (Informative or advisory) states that the driver should get a feedback through a visual or audio signal. This I didn't know until I saw your video. Then it is really strange why so many brands have implemented both a sound and a visual warning as a default. This is not only Chinese brand, also Korean such as Kia. Really enjoying it is !

Kris... Congratulations on making it through the hardest parts of your mobility issues earlier in the year - I know it was not easy. While I am an EV advocate, I have strong concerns about EV fires as they are extremely hard to extinguish and could take-out ones garage/home. I think we need more industry transparency about this probability and what consumers should do to mitigate the risks.

Think youre right about the NIO et5 touring. Love the design and got a look at irl this week, but looking at all the reviews regarding all chimes/warnings, stereo, slow charging speed and the seat height really seem to make it to a not so good alround experience - that in reality should be an easy fix for the most part, but hw wise they should turn over heads and get it fixed asap. They should also consider lowering the base price or doing a low sub 3% loan option like other brands are doing
He talks avout the normal et5 sedan. The touring has fixed all the issues that he talks about in the video. They do ota updated every month. Björn Nyland said that the Nio autopilot is on pair with Teslas at the moment.The new el6 and et5t charges from 10-80% in under 25min. This is faster thwn the Plaid.😊
I have an ET5, most of the ding-dongs have been removed with the new 2.1 update :) The stereo got a lot better after version 2.0 as well!
@@madass88 Thats nice to hear. Do you still have to go via menu system to turn things off, or have they routed to disable via button like audi has on one of the steeringwheel columbs?
@@Lucas-wp2ph Thats good news :) Improvements are welcome. But hopefully they will implement a easier solution for disabling warnings via button instead of having to go into a submenu. As for charging, whats the kw as of now? last i saw was like 125kw?
@@robinno78 I disable the speed limit warning before every drive, its a quick-button on the main display. The lane keep assist was changed to vibrate and visual so theres no sound from it, doesnt bother me now and rarely makes mistakes after the uptdate. Never had a problem with attention settings either, but i've heard from other people that its less sensitive now after 2.1.
They removed the sound from turning autopilot and off as well, rarely hear any bongs anymore.
I was hesitant about the seating position as well, but after i adjusted the seat so its more reclined backwards, its no problem. I'm 184cm. Now i feel like i sit too low in my wifes model 3 😅

Have driven most of the cars you mention. Would actually choose 2 Et5 instead of the plastic EQE 53Amg. And the software in the Mercedes is 💩.
Sound systems where a software glitch in the ET5s all production models are way better.
For me the winner of the year would be the new Model 3, otherwise for a big SUV with performance would be Xpeng G9 with the amazing sound system.
There are so many channels that report on combustion cars, please don't get bogged down.

The only ICE cars you should test are japanese made cars. It makes no sense to buy german luxury cars and pay extraordinary amount of money on fixing them, and take them to the stealership every single time. Best EV is still etron 55 used for 40k €. There is no alternative. Best new EV is iX 40. Car should be practical, 4 adults with proper legrooms and trunks.
I am not interested in videos about ICE cars.
Only the Passat with 110 km electric range in comparison to ID7, please!
No interest in ICE vehicles.
