In Brasil, there is 160.000 eletric cars, increasig 60% each 6 months… from january to july, 38.000 new electrics were licensed…Brazil has plenty of clean energy

  • @MrDAVIDATKIN

I'm glad you did this video, I hope you do more.

  • @JunkerOnDrums

Have driven EV in Denmark for two years now. Never experienced problems, and the charging network is constantly expanding, and at a greater speed than the number of EVs, so no problem :D

  • @Scrap-press

Glad you decided to do a docu series.

The charging problem is a real concern here in the US, not only because of the lack of chargers but also grid power infrastructure. We don't currently have enough power to satisfy summer demand (when AC is widely used in homes) and charge EVs.

  • @jadziadax8658

Driving only EVs now for over 6 years in Germany/Munich.

  • @MrSinnerBOFH

Great format, Kris! I liked it. If you want to make more of this documentary style, having a guest every once in a while helps, or returning guests. Then, with time, you’ll get better at it and won’t take you a week! 😅

  • @edwardkon939

Kris, there is no turning back the clock for electrification of vehicles.

  • @manuelg8050

Here in Stuttgart, Germany the amount of public chargers in the residential areas is increasing fast. There are at least 3 or 4 chargers with 2 spaces in different streets within 500m. A year ago there was only one.

  • @gery4870

Love this format and topic Kris !! Really enjoyed !!

  • @QwertyGuy365

Problem with chargers out of work is a problem, not parking or charging itself.

  • @bobdrago6965

Have a Polestar 2 for a year. No problems. No maintenance issues or costs. Have a level 2 charger at home. Gas is almost $7.00 per gallon here in Northern California. Love driving past gas stations. Cost is an issue for lower income people. Manufacturers need to market a 30K or less EV with at least 300 miles range for Americans to lean towards non fossil fuel cars. In the mean time, you’re right, there are so many anti EV propagandists out there. Love your content Kris! You’re down to earth and accessible.

  • @FarnhamTV

Good documentary Kris. Beautifully shot and well edited. Keep making them.

When a hundred and odd years ago the horseless carriage made its way on to the roads, where there petrol stations everywhere? No. A whole network of feed stores, blacksmiths and other jobs disappeared when the car took over from horse and buggy. The same will happen when the Ev turns the tipping point for car makers. Some jobs will disappear and others will show up. The reality is that most people, in the US anyway, charge at home. Once the charging networks figure it out, just like the oil companies had to back then, it will get easier.

Very nice and informative video. I enjoyed it. Keep up the good work!

  • @intelmacs

Kris, the vast majority of complaint videos you referenced are from the UK. Here it’s completely different to Norway in terms of EVs. First of all energy is much more expensive, to the point that’s it’s much cheaper to use diesel than public charging. Also we have a significantly larger population in a much smaller country with congested highways. Motorway services are also smaller, a place like Nebbenes would be a dream here. EVs are much less practical in the UK purely because of the charging infrastructure, price and highway utilisation.

  • @ItsStyleHQ

Great reflection, Kris. Have driven my polestar over 64k km, no problems and had 3 different EVs without problem. The total energy consumption changing the whole carpark from fossil to EVs will actually reduce the total demand for electricity.

  • @ahlsn7346

Great format! Charging at home is still a problem in Sweden if you live in apartment. There are some public chargers in residential areas but not many and not in everywhere. And the price is high! Like 5-6 SEK per kWh here in the south. Charging at this price is kind of blocking the economic incentive of buying an EV here.
