every time i watch your guys videos all i can think of is “ how bad do you want it”. A region 8 and 3 hunter myself it truly sparks the motivation !! another unreal series, keep it up guys.
Another great series, SUPER glad I found your content, really good stuff. Great honesty about the reality of the hunt sometimes, appreciate that. Those packs, damn that is some serious weight even on flat level ground! Keep it up!
@Alpine Carnivore already have dude! Great that you actually reach out and respond to viewers on different platforms aswell! Hands down enjoy everything you do!
Yea it’s much easier to see when it’s enhanced on the video but at 800 yards in the binos is a bit tougher. I’m glad we took the extra time to really check him out on the big lense and finally saw the 4th point. If we dint have the camera I don’t think we woulda be able to see it to be honest
Well done gents. Thanks for sharing your hunts with us. You guys are freaking mules packing that much weight out!! Studs. When you're ready to send me a free 😁 hat...I'll gladly wear it everyday, here in Idaho.
@@AlpineCarnivore Your "logo" or whatever it's called 🤷🏼♂️ 😁.... will look badass on a hat, T's or hoodies. The moose rack, mountain and the chomp...are the coolest I've seen for a TH-camr/outdoorsman. If you could make the chomp sound on the hat...that would be awesome too.
That’s right as sad as it is when a shot doesn’t go as planned, that’s hunting some times and we only grow from what we go through in the field! Good buck!
at 12:27 pretty sure that top left forks enough to be legal. almost impossible to see with binos or spotter though. And of course you can't take that chance.
Damn that's one hell if a hunt! Definitely took a shit kicking but got it done! Those are the ones to look back on, the more they suck the better the memory 👌 great video and awesome bucks! Has to be 4 point to be legal there? Here in alberta we don't have that rule
Yea I’m hunting in a general over the counter unit and from Nov 1 to the end of rifle season its 4 point bucks only. It’s a bit of a tougher hunt but makes for more mature deer being harvested at the end of the day so it’s nice when you can find them! And you are right the tougher it is in the moment the more you remember it in years to come!
Lol i love cooking Jim I not much better than tenderloins on the mountain I might have to try and fry up some coyote next time I get one and put your theory to the test lol! Thanks for watching man!
@@shanehull3629 lol i thought you meant my Alpine carnivore hat lol nvm no we will not be making fur hats hahah. There are some really good Canadian fur companies out there, they usually use coyote of lynx to make them and many do custom orders. they hats will run you about 400 CAN just an FYI
As of the first stalk, Just my opinion, but getting the kill shot on film is definitely not as important as it used to be. This is fishgrub spinners. I've been at the filming game for years. Great hunt and great video.
Hey thanks for watching and maybe it’s not important for you as much as it is for me. I do make these films for the public to learn but I also want to make better and better quality films and pushing myself to do so I strive to campfire the full adventure on camera and if I don’t do that I feel like I let myself down. Self improvement is the name of the game for me!
@Alpine Carnivore I totally agree it's part of the challenge for the film producers, just giving you feedback that your storytelling is top-notch and if you shot that deer in bad film light it would've still been a great video. It wasn't meant to be a negative feedback.
Bc has 1 hour of hunting after sunset but usually you can’t see through the cameras like 20 minutes after sunset so it’s tough those last 30 mins or so when you can still see but the cameras do not…
Yea you bet! Lots more time at the range this year at 500 just to be sure, but I honestly would just rather get closer to much can go wrong once you start getting out that far.

Cheers man! Glad your enjoying the series and wish you all the best when your out maybe will run into you out there one day 👍
He wants it so bad he does a pile of illegal shit... Google it. This guy is a poacher. Charged in BC and AB.
Kick ass job bud! Thank you for putting out high quality and entertaining content. Always stoked to see local areas and successful hunts. Keep it up

congratulations great hunt and footage , that pack out what a grind , LOL hope your backs are still alined.
Some well needed messages after that one lol
Wow, epic stuff! Can't imagine a 177 lb pack in that terrain. Also cool to see how you perfect your fresh tendi with those spices of yours.
Yea imagine carrying your hunting partner out on your back that would pretty much be that pack. it weighed more than me lol
Thanks for watching man!
@Alpine Carnivore Dang! Well don't go and injury yourself- I really enjoy your content!

another great hunt! maybe time for a spring black bear raffle with Team Alpine carnivore 👀!
That’s a great idea!
Gonna have to figure out how we can make that work.

Always trying to learn and improve I’ll be doing more long range target shooting before this spring that’s for sure!
Well done and congrats on the bucks. Surprised you don't have more views. Great content.
Thanks man I’m sure views will come in time the more we put out!
Winners never ever quit eh. You guys are winners for sure🎉
🎉
6:58 / What fire starter are you using? Love the videos! 🤘🏽
It’s called zip really good stuff highly recommend having it in the pack in case of emergency.
at 12:27 pretty sure that top left forks enough to be legal. almost impossible to see with binos or spotter though. And of course you can't take that chance.
Yep he endup being big enough once we really picked him apart on the camera how sad would I have been if we dint see that and left him up there lol
Great videos guys. Congratulations
Way to grind it out.
Could you share what camera/lens you are using?
Thanks
Thanks glad you enjoyed it.
As for the camera I’m not very techy lol I believe it’s called an A7 and the lense is a 2-600 both are Sony.
It is an amazing video, where you hunt and which outfitters is it?
This is British Columbia and we did not use an outfitter. But there are many great outfitters in the region.

Atta way boys!! Way to get it done!! And then that pack out 😳😳😳. 177 pounds and 164 pounds. Hahahaha holy shit fellas!!! Now THATS dedication 🤘🤘🤘
My knees regretted it the next day but I wasn’t interested in going back for a second load lol
You guys were cooking in your tent in grizz country - how come?
Good question!
It’s winter and the bears are sleeping 🛌
Great video
Thank you!
This hunt is by far one of the most genuine video's of how to get er done. Congrats🍻
That’s nice to hear Randy thank you!
engaging information!
💪
Thanks glad you thought so!
What caliber rifle are you guys using?
270
You guys are crazy for not using trekking poles lol
also may be time to upgrade to the A7S3 or FX3 and get that extra 15 minutes of filming at last light ;-)
Lol yea they would have helped on this pack out for sure
I’m not to tekky on the cameras but better in lower light would most definitely help
@@AlpineCarnivore yeah those two cameras I mentioned are low-light beasts!
@@wildfoodoutdoors I’ll check em out!

How does one go about getting a hat like yours?
Hey Shane we’re gonna be making some in the next month or so and will let Instagram know when we sell them!

Always shoot faster on the follow up and don’t save the ammunition.

WOW 177lbs on your back is literally the same as carrying a whole grown person!!! Y'all are legit and don't quit and I love it!
