I think some companies don’t want to put out a pedal that sounds harsh and spiky with high Q in a low gain setting. Some people will hear it in a clean amp and think it’s sounds terrible when in reality, that’s exactly what you need to sculpt high gain tone.
I'm partial to my boss waza craft metal zone I can play it through any clean channel on any amp. Got it used for 90 bucks. Best investment I ever made.

DRV 1 will still drive a clean channel pretty well and its definitely designed to stack well. Ill try and get some videos uploaded. 🤘🤘

As usual, good demo video. My Orange amps qualify as high gain so this pedal would match up well. Solid tones in both modes.
