    I like your down to earth manner. When I was growing up in Nigeria it was a taboo to even attempt to buy any street food. It was later in my adult life returning to Nigeria that I started to blend. I learnt more from mixing the with locals when walking around. The key thing in life is to be able to adapt to any environment you find yourself in. To be a person who can dine at a top expensive restaurant but can also feel comfortable at a street joint ( buka ) is important.

    • @thenigeriannomad
      @thenigeriannomad  9 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Thank you! I totally agree-being able to adapt and enjoy different experiences, whether it’s fine dining or a local street joint, adds so much richness to life.

      Contrary to your warped thinking, Nigeria 🇳🇬 is safer than you think. I have seen videos of daylight robberies and other violent crimes in New York City, California, Philadelphia, Chicago, etc. You have a right to be misled by the media.
