    Thanks for the idea of brewing outdoors. Years ago i saw one of your videos and thought what a great idea to do it outdoors. Since then i only brew outdoors, even in winter. In winter i do no-chill since then. I live in a flat so brewing on my big terrace works fine for me.

    Glad watched this , next time I brew , I wont bother putting my hot corny kegs in a big bucket of cold water, why speed things up ? i must be rushing things to much. Question ? does yeast suffer from the bends like divers do when when surfacing to quick. I wouldnt want to cause the yeast extra harm with all this pressure nonsense that has been working for me since starting brewing with out failure. I ask because I set my spunding valve to high and released pressure very quick ?

    • @DrHansBrewery
      @DrHansBrewery  ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks. I havent noticed that yeast suffer during pressurized fermentation. But of course you have to use a spunding valve. I didnt show in this video that I used spunding valves during fermentation. I hop no-one thought differently.

    What’s the reason for purging the keg with co2 when your pour in the wort? Won’t the yeast consume the oxygen during fermentation? I thought some people oxygenate their wort for this reason.
