I don't care what the haters say. I love the music. I'm 54 and it brings me right back to my misspent youth hanging out in underground dance clubs all night long.
wow, finally I find a person who worked like me but with a much much bigger hand stirring mashing tun, great! Anyway it helped us get our muscle stronger.
hahaha, we have almost same process during mashing, especially when you open the valve let water out from heat exchanger, I know how hard work it is, well done dude, cheers!
I agree that the music is terrible. Just a guess but they probably assumed that the only people watching this video are at least homebrewers whom basically already know. The large tub with the grain in it is a "mash tun" in which the brewer steeps grain in hot water to convert starches into sugars & then extract them. Once the liquid (now called "wort") is moved into the "boil kettle" you have to remove the spent grain & clean the equipment. The green rabbit food looking stuff he was measuring out are "hops" which are added to the boiling wort to add bitterness to balance out the sweetness & is a natural preservative. When he had the hoses hooked up, he was taking the wort through a cooling device & into the fermenting vessel. Hope this info helps.
Some mash tuns have them but they cost MUCH more than the ones without them. Here's an analogy. Say you're building a 2 story house, do you pony up the extra cash to install an escalator or just build a set of steps......sometimes you'll sacrifice 'ease' for the sake of a cheaper 'price'
i could easily be convinced this video was made in 1995

An excellent video demonstrating first basic steps of beer brewing. Well done

Yep, pretty accurate. Right up to ending the day with a shift pint.
Brings a whole new meaning to beer muscles doesn't it
That is the most annoying music I have ever heard. I totally turned it off and tuned out at that point...
A in brewing,F in music. you get a C
You definitely covered the two most important parts. Embrace the grain out facial and don’t forget a shifty.
Hahaha the music was the best I’ve ever heard!
I 2nd that yes, my friend.

Great video! Pumps up my brewing dreams
Music is super annoying had to turn off volume. Might want to rethink next time.
Whereabouts is this taken at?!
Watched you work ...... didn’t learn a thing !!!! Hahahahaha. It would be awesome to work in a brewery !!!
Looks like a TON of work, one day maybe I will experience that :)
Cool video!
That song is legit, where'd you get it? Sounds like moderate tempo trance.
There is no way an intern would be doing half of that.
no way but it is true. bewing a brewer means is more like being a janitor that sometimes makes beer
@@Jaguargamingtemple yes, I know. I do it for a living.
Great dance moves
Oh hi Mark !
I don't understand why uguys always play annoying noise instead of explaining what' your doing
I agree that the music is terrible.

You would think that someone would making an auger to help remove the spent grain.

Isn't there an agitator in mash&lauter tun?
Yes, the guy who has to stir it is highly agitated.
@@barklordofthesith2997 you win today 🤣
That is alot of work!
Looks like a lot of work. But sure is worth it👍
What volume of wort and weight of grain were you producing here?
Nice video thanks!
He ain't gonna answer u lol
There is a mystery most of brewers a good body shape 😀
Nice shirt 👍🏽
Hey why do you spray water before vorlauf?
Just for knocking that foam down so the sparge arm doesn't get too sticky.

Moby haciendo cerveza
how many liters?
Americans go by gallons/ barrels
Looks like a 20 HL system. Which are 2,000 liters
If you got rid of the cheesy introduction "oh hello" people would be far less encouraged to skip the vid...... just saying.
a brewing intern that isnt assigned to clean all day?? next level shit
Music sucks, nice behind the scenes look though
😍
Horrible music.
If this is the intern, what is the brewer doing?
aciiiiiid
Grains out had to be the least efficient method I've ever seen
That way is more common than you might think.
The music is fine.
you tell me Hindi please

No gloves while working on cold side!? I'm surprised at how many brewers don't enforce glove wearing.
Норм
I am seeing unsafe act the guy should wear safety clothing.
It's sugary barley water/tea. A hazmat suit is not needed.
spoilt your presentation with that stupid music!.
Sorry but the idiotic music prevented me from getting past 3 mins
