- I am back with the Mario Oddities iceberg. Today we are diving back in and taking a look at the Mario series as a whole. Throughout Mario’s journey over the years there have been some strange occurrences that happen in the background. This iceberg highlights interesting strange occurrences in Mario games. This includes everything from 2D Mario to 3D Mario games like Super Mario 64, Super Mario Galaxy, and Super Mario Sunshine.

There is actually another 4 Corners 1-Up that I know of! In Peach's castle, where you drain the moat, it spawns when you touch the 4 corners at the bottom of the ramped floors.
Great insight, the fact I still haven't found everything in that game is amazing lol
Super Mario world also has invisible triggers that spawn a 1-up but thier even harder to find because you have to hit them in a certain order

I actually found that one by accident just playing in water on ds, and found the slide one playin 64 on switch checking each corner for coins because I'm weird
Also, the Dolpic 2, 3, and 4 refer to cut instances of Delfino Plaza, which changes depending on how far the player progresses in the game (Dialogue changes, etc), not missing levels.

Bowser punished Wiggler by using his remains as part of his stage. Bowser is a real villain showing other Super Mario villains how it's done. This was a great and interesting Super Mario Iceberg. Cool video. ^_^

For the Mario 64 DS one, my theory is that the game is trying to kill the plank, but since the plank can't die, the game will constantly try to kill it and it gives you 1-ups.
I thought that Color Splash and Origami king were good games, and the battle system is Origami king was perfectly fun and playable. Besides Origami King reception was far better then Sticker Star or Color Splash. But hey, everyone has the right to their own opinions on games. Mine would get me trashed by a lot of people lol.
I can see why people like the new Paper Mario games, but I much rather the older style of battling from Thousand Year Door, the new stuff feels too gimicky for me

I liked super paper Mario and origami king the most, I never got around to finishing color splash
I think that Super Paper Mario has the best battle system.
I actually really like the boss battles in origami king, it's better than regular fights. The music, the unique things you need to do, but you need to go with the mindset it's more of a puzzle than a rpg fight.
I barely found out about these Mario icebergs and they are honestly really good. Part 1 and 2 are really well made and your commentary is interesting and funny. The spaghetti hell and Miyamoto’s transparent cube fetish theory were hilarious. I cannot wait for Part 3 and keep up with the amazing content 👍

the yellow balls in mario 64 were also used for other things like the tops of certain poles and stuff, maybe big bob omb's hands or something
As a kid I actually did find that 4 corners 1UP. I don't remember exactly what inspired me to check all the corners, but I would do it everytime I entered a small room like that and I just happened to get lucky here.
5:30 there's a similar 1up that's also really well hidden in the area leading to the pillars in the castle basement

5:20 Actually in Peach Castle there is a second place where you have to touch the four corners to get a 1-up. This is the passage before you get into the room to drain the castle water

that city part of Mario Odyssey is just so ripped of the original Sonic Adventure. It was pretty much a first you see a famous mascot type Jump & Run taking part in "the real world" instead of just a pure fantasy world. They could've at least taken a different type of city but no, its the same San Franisco/New York type city with the taxi cabs everywhere.. isn't it blatant?

Overall I think its actually solid in most parts of the game like visuals, writing, and overworld gameplay. I just really didn't like the combat
@@realgambadogaming nah i second that, combat was a slog, and i’m a TTYD fanboy so of course that’s what i compare them too, but i thought origami king was incredibly well-written and hilarious, music rocked, visuals were super cool, but combat friggin SUCKED

See I hated the game play Origami King, I didn't even finish it because between the gameplay and enemy design, it absolutely ruined the one thing I care a lot about in games (being the bosses) but I actually fucked with Color Splash that game was my shit I loved it!

None of this is “disturbing”, it’s just a video about unused Mario content.
Technically, the yellow balls that hold up the bombs in Bowser's arena aren't the same textures as parts of Wiggler's body. If you change the texture of Wiggler's body, the Bomb balls don't change, and vice versa. They're just very similar textures, like King Bob-Omb and the Big Steel Balls that appears in a few levels.
Mario 64 DS is the best way to play. Ngl if you had issues with the controls that sounds more like a skill issue.
