    How long
    is this good for at room temperature? I want to have it set out at party but make it a day in advance, would that still be good (it will be tightly wrapped in individual tray and saran wrap)

    Hi I saw u on HWT. My kids like mochi and I like waffles plus I got a expensive waffle maker so time to cook! Following

      Yes, put that waffle maker to use! I only have a cheap one but made it work. I bet it would taste better with yours!

    yum! i have the same waffle maker but I can never get that brown crust on the outside. do you have any tips?

      i mean after the waffle maker considers it done it dings and the heat is turned down so it doesn’t keep cooking 😅

    If you dont mind me asking , what does the cake flour’s package look like?

      I purchased mine as a bulk pack. But you can get the Softasilk brand from Walmart. I have tried different brands and they mostly yield the same thing.

    Just curious, would it be possible to replace the cake flour with all purpose flour?

      Yes, that is fine too. It won't ruin it. Will be slightly more dense but maybe only I taste the difference 😆

      I wouldn't replace it. Cake flour is better, it's more light and airy.

    Thank you for the awesome recipe, I adjusted the flour to 1 1/4 cup each because I like it a little more cakey. I also switch the all milk for 1 cup coconut milk and 1/2 cup regular milk. It was delish! Coconut Pandan Mochi waffles!

      You could also add 2 tbsp of regular rice flour or cornstarch if you want it more crunchy on the outside. I added Rice Flour to mines and it came out extra crunchy
