One point that no one mentions. When you remove the old wiring harness from the running light on the bottom of the fender (step 1 in the instructions labeled "Unplug This Connector"), there's nothing to plug in from the latitude assembly. I figure if nothing gets put back into the socket dirt and junk would get in there. Since my kit came with a tiny grey foam piece I figured that would be a good place for it. Just passing along. Hope it helps.

Anything that makes you more visible to the cagers is a bonus, while I didn't install Ciro I did install the Custom Dynamics tail light, signals and magic strobe and WOW what a difference it makes. I'm so impressed that I ordered the tour pak led light kit.
Hey John.I was the one that had the jerky motion on the crusing on the roadking. You had mention to check for vacume leak. Well long story short ...replaced IAC..maf sensor...crank shaft sensor....engine temp. sensor....injectors...throttle control sensor...fuel pump.... none of them fixed the issue. Took it to harley dealer and it was a bad injector wire...resoldered it and viola works like a champ.

Yeah I'm honestly not a fan of it aesthetically. Just doesn't go with the rest of the bike, looks tacked on (which I mean it kinda is), but it doesn't flow.
I agree , I have the Ciro Bag Blades that I love , and upgraded prior to that with the Custom Dynamics Tri bar and signal inserts . I like the curved plate holder but the light styling just looks kinda cheesy if I'm gonna be honest about it.

Brother or Sister... newer baggers are invisible to people behind us. Dependin on where you live your fender may be under water or over a hill and you're infreaking-visibile. I don't like this alternative but I always got used to a hard tail with a kill switch to ditch people so I'm not too bugged.

I loved your video, I love the way it looks, so I bought it, and it’s NOT COMPATIBLE with the 2021 Road King special.
I haven't seen many of the 21 bikes, since I'm no longer at the dealership. What makes it not work?
@@TheHarleyTech electrical harness, plugs on the 21 are different I brought it to a friend of mine and he managed to ring it up so that it connected farther up the line closer to the battery.
@@jif4639 The plug is different I brought it to a friend who sets up emergency light configurations on our state police bikes and he managed to figure it out

Looks great. Hopefully you will do an upgrade on your Heritage with the license plate mount and would love to see an upgrade to the horns on these new bikes. They sound too much like a Japanese bike. Even the Goldwing horn kills the Harley horn.
I’ve seen people put street glide bags on a switchback. Are the mounting points the same? If I wanted to do something like that where is the best place to get the bags?

John I have a 2019 Deluxe like tale light but would like to have the turn the blinkers red and on all the time like I was able to do on my 2016 sportster thank you for all you do.

Stock looks better, this one u installed isnt that bad though. Ive always liked to regular bulbs better then led, nice soft glow and led burn out just a few at a time and r too bright on your eyes and Harleys have an old school look, led just dont match that look but Streetglide has a bit of a futuristic look 2 it so this light shown isnt too bad looking
i have a 2016 road king and i replace rear fender and tail lights from a 2020 street glide and my brake light is not working little help please
I know this is a 3 year old video now, but I just installed the Ciro Latitude on my 22 Road Glide. I also installed some new front lights and did the re-sync with the hazard lights on. I noticed the taillight doesnt stay flashing if you turn the bike off like the front lights do. Did I do something wrong or is this just a side effect of the all in 1 light?

2011 ultra classic. Tail light don’t work. Break light works and everything else. No taillights. Changed fuse. I took the tour pack off and change it to a quick connect till late does not work like I said the brake light works till light does not come on

John i have a 2017 cvo street glyd i have a rear speaker rattling i am sure its blown i have already had it fixed once at worth harley of kansas city under warranty they said they will not replace it agian under warranty is there any special things to do or can i purchase after market speakers for the bike and be able to plug them in without deal help thanks for your help
Only thing I don’t like about HD baggers and others are the tiny yet bright rear lights.

Thanks for your videos and information. I have installed the Ciro Bag Blades on my '19 Road King Base. I also have the HD LED brake light and turn signals. I was planning on putting Custom Dynamics Strobe kit on for more visibility, but was just informed at the MB Rally that the HD LED turn signals would not strobe due to their high voltage draw. Is Ciro going to do a strobe brake, or any other suggestions since Harley doesn't have anything?

John, could you please do a video on the Rushmore water pumps? Some guys have been through 2 or 3 in under 30,000 miles, I’ve been lucky mine has lasted 29,000 and counting. I’m particularly interested in the new model retro fit to the older bikes, what do we need to know? Is it worth doing before the old one goes out? What about aftermarket pumps? I don’t know of an aftermarket one. The new one is the same as the M8 runs with new hoses and a mounting bracket to go with the pump. I don’t know if the cost is worth it before it needs to be done or not. I’m a fan of “if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.” I suppose.
What options are out there for center-mount taillights? I'm looking for a tag mount for my RGU that I'm taking the tour pack off of. The HD quick attach kit has a really tacky tag bracket in it

Will this fit a 17' Road King? Are there any other rear light bars, stock or not, that could change out the stock RK light bar? I like the Street/Road Glide bar, but it won't fit on the RK.

I enjoy your videos ! I've had many Harleys and currently own a 2018 Road King FLHR, not a Special. I would like to add a rear lower light into the fender like in this video which I guess is the Harley Fascia which include fillers but it seems it will not install on a standard Road King. I have over 40K into my Road king with many improvements but I would really like to change my rear fender some. Do you have any suggestions and/or comments? I guess I could just change my fender completely...

After disconnecting the connector off the lower brake light and removing the harness what do you connect t o the lower brake light?
Nothing. Just put the cover back on. Not sure why that plug isn’t the one used.
@@TheHarleyTech ok so the cable you disconnected went to the light you removed. The lower brake light has its own feed.

What if you use a center jack and lift the rear tire off the lift? Does that increase clearance at all?
If you removed the shock bolts so that the tire remained on the lift it would. The space between the fender and tire would be a bit more.
