Congratulations, Leon!
thank you Brandi. for your valuable advice
Thank you:) It really helpful!
Your videos are amazing I did well on my test! Thank you:)
Hello, Sharon Do you have any test materials for the test?
hi there,
Does practice task in speaking count towards marking system or not?
Do we have to speak in practice task compulsory or we can skip it?
Am glad I listened to this now... today is my test... and am more comfortable really.

Passed?
Yeah... I got my result after four days... level 8 for this section. I never knew I would even score that. Such if I had time like most of you, to practice enough and learn more, it would be straight level 12. But am glad with my result.
Sincerely you need to see me still dancing now.
Please people don't be discouraged.
I listened to Brandi and John Haggerty and Aswahti and Meaghan, like, I listend to them as if my life depends on them. I literally swallowed all they said. I watched their mouth move, observed their faces, obeyed all they said, did practice test several times, recorded my voice and played it back.
The first time I accessed my recording with their teachings, sincerely I scored myself even below level 4. It was a mess. So I started working on myself with no physical teacher around me, no other test taker around and above all, no time. My office was hard on me. I even keep awake till 1am...daily... all struggling to improve my faults. Until I saw my interjections has reduced... my vocabulary improved... and so on... However I was still struggling with task fulfilment and time management.
See my dear, just listen to their teachings and instructions, they are absolutely real. This is exactly what you will see very glaring while seated at your test centre.
Also they said breath in and breath out after each section. I did that, all through my test and it helped me suppress tensions. Tension and pressure is real. Breathing in and out does help get you relief.
They say, record yourself, please people do that. Don't assume you know it, do record yourself and listen to yourself.
Print out your response, please do that.
They say, Time yourself, please do. These little things helped me, I would have ended at level 3 or below.
See, I listen to them daily, and not once, not twice, not thrice a day. My dear, I mean, I switched my entirety as though my life depends on them all. I literally grab every single stuff from their mouth. I've seen all celpip TH-cam videos, and mean all. Everything you can imagine.
See, I work 14hours here in Dubai and I have little or no time to prepare. All my body is full of pains. But today, am happy and I can now sleep like a king.
Please put all your spirit and soul into their teachings, you will make it and smile like me at the end of the day.
Gods blessings

Give me some ideas how to prepare for this exam
@@ilyanovikov2064I guess he is by now at least 😅
To expertise and learn from our goods/bads in speaking, to get evaluated in essence, transcript plays vital role. Is there a tool other than google which is efficient in translating sound into lyrical text.
Great, Thank you
While in overseas, he can join sports organization and during his day-off he can play tennis or bowling if these are his sports.
great program
Thank you Brandi, Aswathi and all the Ceipip team behind this videos. You guys are amazing! ❤
is there any specific limit of words that should be used in each section , for example each section should contain atleast x number of words to be presented ? Please answer thank you in advance .
I have my test on January 12 wish me luck😊
On this specific question, could I have chosen a country to help me with examples? For example, could I have imagined my friend moving to Australia, then I would have more topics to cover?
Hi Emanuel. Yes, you can create details to guide the response as long as they relate to the question. In this case, identifying a specific country where your friend has been offered a job, and then giving her advice to help her decide if she should move there, is a great strategy. - Brandi
Is this video is going to be the same test or just example this one?
@CELPIP test is it necessary to do practice task in exam or we can skip it

could we use idioms and collocation in speaking

the advise is for a female friend, and the answer was done for male, Mark, friend. How will this affect the score?
Using a male name instead of a female one as requested is such a small error that it will not impact the score. Some examples of major errors that would negatively affect the score include not including any specific details in a response, making many grammatical errors, and using common, vague vocabulary.
Can we use idiom?
When you do live mam?
celpip website doesn't work..does anyone know the reason?
CELPIP said the technical difficulties were due to an “unprecedented volume of demand for test registrations.”
Can you share the link of vocabulary session that you had earlier I'm unable to find it.
Hello! Here are a few of the episodes we were referring to: Fun ways to developed your English Proficiency (th-cam.com/video/zVR362vnWao/w-d-xo.html), Understanding Common English Mistakes (th-cam.com/video/P0p3FA4E7_A/w-d-xo.html), and Using Descriptive Language (th-cam.com/video/FkM71mAegF4/w-d-xo.html - this is another episode where we focus on a Speaking task).
Listen to Harsha Bhogle Commentary...if you like Cricket..
Can we use slang language in celpip exam?
I think you don't need to. This exam is about using English correctly or properly like vocabulary, grammar, sentence structure, spelling etc.

What level for citizenship ?
The answer assumes Mark already accepted the job offer or as if we are making the decision for him. Giving advise to choose between the two different possibilities should not include making decision for them. May be I am confused on how persuasive we can be ?
For this question, we are offering advice, or ideas, for our friend to consider that will help him make a decision about whether he should move overseas for the job or not. (We are not making the decision for him). - Brandi
@@CELPIPOfficial Yesss! Thank you Brandi
@@CELPIPOfficial Hello. I just noticed that the question refers to a female but in the answer, the name (Mark) is for male. I noticed that after watching the whole video, I am afraid that could happen during the real test and then lose points.
hello I need tips for the reading test it's very hard, so if someone have tips how can I pass tomorrow thank you.
Hi there, how did your test go? Hope you nailed it. I'm about to take the test too in a week.
@@catherinelustado Hi, I have passed everything except the reading, you need prepare yourself, and good luck 👍😉
@@anislaham5460 congrats!
@@catherinelustado thanks and good luck to you, I need to repeat it again 😉👍
will i pass if i have #3
In the question they are saying about SHE** , and just changed the name to Mark. dont you think it would effect!!!
How much flexibility do we have to add context around the advise ? Can we randomly add information not provided in the question ? for example, Hi Mark, Congratulations on your graduation and birth of your second child.... which will later support not leaving for overseas and support his wife by staying her ?
You can certainly add in your own details for background context as long as they clearly support the topic. It might be best to directly address the test question in your opening, however, and add specific details after that. For example, you could begin this response with, "Hi Mark. Congratulations on your graduation and job offer..." and later, when you start providing advice to help him decide if he should move, mention that he'll need to consider whether it would benefit the family if he was working overseas while his wife and newborn child were living here. - Brandi
@@CELPIPOfficial appreciate the response Brandi ! Thanks
Hi mark first and formost congratulation for new job offer, your mom told me to speak with you as you are in confusion, see if i were you i definatley grab this pretigiouse offer, since your peers already there you will not feel lonely overthere furthure more uk is wonderful place to explore from tourist pointof view as well you will have relaxing weekend over ahead, try to arrange accomodatio in advance as one of my friend overthere spoke with me yesterday as per his observation lanloard doesnt preffer single for flat so its good to arrange it in advance , furthure more dont worry about your family, i will look after them, once you settle you can able to serve high living of standard to your family.

I believe none of you (including the mentor) has read the task clearly, it says "give her advice on WHAT SHE SHOULD CONSIDER..." you were talking about anything else but not the task. The answer should include different aspects of moving overseas. Such as: culture difference, housing, salary, food, language, being homesick, new challenges, etc.
Hi Sasha. Yes, you are correct, the speaker's response in this episode does not truly address the question from the test. The test question asks him to give his friend advice to help them decide if they should move overseas for a new job, but the speaker only provides one general piece of advice in his answer, namely, that moving overseas will provide the friend with new experiences. This weakness is explained at length in the video from 24:59- to 25:39. If you would like to review the man's score for this response, you can rewatch the segment from 26:05-to 27:54; it identifies both the strengths and weaknesses of this response, again, emphasizing the weak content details. Most importantly, a detailed discussion takes place from 29:00-42:40 where we take suggestions from our live audience that would improve this response by offering numerous pieces of advice that the speaker could have given to his friend on the test. You'll see that many suggestions offered by our viewers are the same as the ones that you've suggested too.
