I want to express my deepest gratitude to the CELPIP Test channel for sharing this fantastic video. A massive round of applause goes out to Brandi; she truly is an exceptional teacher. I followed every one of her recommendations for both Writing Task 1 and Task 2, and the outcome was absolutely incredible-I scored a perfect 12 on my CELPIP test. It's worth mentioning that I realized there are multiple approaches one can take when tackling these tasks. However, I made the decision to wholeheartedly follow Brandi's advice, and it delivered outstanding results! Her explanations were incredibly insightful and, without a doubt, the best ones out there. Brandi, you are simply the best!

Respect your concern for making it work for us ❤thanks a lot, nowhere else have I seen the educational board to directly teach test takers from the scratch and absolutely everything by themselves . It’s like getting the world-class teachers over there.
When Brandi reads a full text it helps a lot for the pronunciation, Thank you so much Brandi.
The test wasn't hard. However, the fact that I was next to 3 people taking the test and speaking at the same time was really distracting, especially since we were made aware not to speak too loud. I was very inhibited. Sometimes I was the only one speaking while it was completely quiet. I never had to take a test like this.
She is such a good tutor . Everything was perfectly explained.

Big shout out to Brandi and Aswathi, Brandi especially. I had my exams in April 2024 but haven't had the time to drop a comment. I promised myself that I was going to leave a comment if all things went well for me. My overall band was 11 (I am still in shock by the way) Writing 11, Speaking 11, Listening 10, Reading 10. All thanks to these preparation videos and some practice videos on TH-cam. I also had less time to practice due to my multiple jobs. I studied rigorously for about a week or less before the exam. I do not advise this as I was under a lot of pressure. I am also from Nigeria by the way and I wrote my exam in Lagos, Nigeria. Good luck to everyone prepping for their exam.

In the last question asked by anu, can we use personal pronouns in Informal Emails. For example : If I am writing to a friend can I write ' I'm hoping that you'll be in the city because I want you to arrange a party for my classmates. Will it be a right tone? Please let me know

Thank you for trying to help, Brandi. However, it seems unrealistic to come up with all those ideas in a few minutes and then use complicated words and sentence structures, revise the vocabulary in 26 minutes :(

Hi Sandeep! Our spell check feature will give you a drop-down menu of possible spellings from which you will have to choose the right one. The spell check does not correct the spelling.

Hi Aayush! If you're planning to do a self-directed study, you can go through our Score Comparison Chart to understand how we rate Speaking and Writing responses by level. @CELPIP Test are both writing task are having equal weightage how is score calucalated
Hi Pranjali. Yes, both Writing tasks are weighted equally. You'll receive an individual score for each Writing task, and then these two scores will be averaged together to form your overall Writing score. Please note that the overall score is rounded up or down to the nearest level. Scores for Writing are based on the Performance Standards checklist. This checklist identifies the skills that the raters are looking for you to demonstrate when you write the email and the response survey on the CELPIP Test. Please follow the links provided below to review these skills in detail. We also discuss these Performance Standards in many of our TH-cam videos and our free webinars, so we welcome you to join us there if you have any further questions.
